About the Team:
At CookUnity, the Brand Marketing team is responsible for developing and executing world-class marketing activations that drive brand awareness and earn loyalty beyond reason. Brand Marketing sets the vision and strategy for the brand and brings it to life with strategic rigor, creative excellence, and cultural relevance. Through insight-inspired, data-informed brand storytelling and experiences, CookUnity’s Brand Marketing team will build a category-defining brand loved by an entire generation of foodies.
The Role
We are looking for an ambitious Brand Marketing leader to elevate the craft of marketing and fuel brand growth by partnering cross-functionally to create seamless brand experiences between marketing, product, portfolio, and our community of world-class independent chefs.
You will help shape a brand strategy that elevates and differentiates the CookUnity brand and bring that strategy to life with exceptional creative work that earns a disproportionate share of cultural conversation. With responsibility for brand strategy, consumer insights, social media, brand partnerships, and integrated campaigns, this is an essential leadership role.
You will report to the VP of Brand Marketing and work closely with influential leaders throughout the company.
Responsibilities
- Develop innovative strategies for rapidly accelerating brand awareness and organic traffic.
- Partner closely with Growth Marketing to develop an integrated, full-funnel marketing calendar incorporating featured chefs, collections, and product launches.
- Uncover and craft compelling human and cultural stories that are relatable, highly relevant, and reinforce our brand narrative and key attributes.
- Develop a social media strategy that engages our audience in real-time and proactively contributes to and creates culture to drive organic awareness and timely relevance.
- Concept unexpected, breakthrough partnerships and experiences to amplify and extend our brand’s organic reach and share-of-mind.
- Concept and implement innovative brand experiences that create memorable, personalized interactions with users inspired by world class hospitality.
- Collaborate with Product, Portfolio, and Ops to deliver a consistent, elevated experience through the entire user journey, leveraging brand to deliver delight and earn engagement.
- Partner with the Creative Studio and key stakeholders to develop a model for scalable organic content creation that taps into the creativity and humanity of food and our chef community.
- Collaborate with CX on the development of a community engagement program that leverages our unique ability to enable meaningful connection between Eaters & Chef.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of marketing experience with proven ability to develop brand and creative strategies that fuel business growth and brand affinity
- Experience at premium consumer and/or technology brands with a track record of launching inspiring, well-crafted work that creates a strong human connection with consumers
- Experience with marketplace brands or working across consumer and creator audiences is a plus
- Proven ability to activate and drive results with organic content through owned channels
- A skillful communicator and analytical thinker who can turn insights and strategy into inspiring storytelling and customer value
- Highly collaborative and comfortable partnering, influencing, and aligning with cross-functional partners
- Experience and high degree of comfort executing and thriving in a fast-paced environment

Compensation All final pay rates will be determined by candidates experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
Pay Range for this position
$150,000 — $190,000 USD
