Summary
Position Overview: Boucheron is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Public Relations & Influence Manager, Americas. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and executing press, celebrity and influencer activations that enhance the visibility, awareness and desirability of the Maison, as well as bolster brand strategy and image. The role requires an energetic team-centric individual with an interest in working in a start-up environment in a 165-year-old Maison, supported by luxury group Kering.

A visionary designer and the very first of the great contemporary jewelers to open a boutique on Place Vendôme, Boucheron still embodies absolute excellence in Jewelry, High Jewelry and Watchmaking today. The Boucheron style, free and daring, is an expression of the vision, creativity and innovation of the Maison.
Job responsibilities:
- Drive awareness and ensure Boucheron is held to the highest standards & brand positioning across all PR & Influence activities – including press, events, boutique openings, celebrity initiatives, influencer activations and more – to express the singularity of the Maison.
- Partner with Marketing & Communications Director in developing focused and elevated strategies to increase brand awareness, exposure and editorial coverage for Boucheron Americas.
- Responsible for overseeing agencies and leading the year-round communications strategies and execution, including press activations, press releases & kits, media monitoring, pitching stories, asset creation, events & experiences, celebrity & influencer activations, executive interviews and more.
- Build and maintain relationships with key press contacts, editors, journalists, celebrity stylists, influencers, agencies, vendors and key opinion leaders across fashion, jewelry, luxury and creative fields.
- Manage all aspects of events including invitations, guest lists, logistics, and follow-up for American market.
- Collaborate with internal (local and HQ) teams including marketing, design, sales, and e-commerce to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
- Create and maintain measuring systems and tools to support growth – platforms such as DMR, Lefty, Launchmetrics, Cision and more to ensure effective strategies.
- Ideate PR & Influence opportunities and develop strong angles for storytelling. Introduce both traditional and forward-thinking ideas. Identify and analyze missed opportunities and strategize on how to course correct.
- Partner and liaise with local and HQ teams on local strategies to generate buzz and awareness in the region
- Provide direction, leadership and guidance to team members as well as future direct report(s).
- Embodies the values of the Maison as an ambassador of Boucheron to find any possible opportunities to make our Maison shine in the American market.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or a related field preferred
- 5+ years of public relations, influencer, events, and/or celebrity experience with understanding of luxury industry preferred
- Strong network of industry relationships in the luxury, creative or fashion spaces, as well as new media
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, start-up environment with hand on the pulse of the competitive landscape.
- Proven track record of successful press placements in top-tier publications both online and offline
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling stories, pitches, presentations and more.
- Friendly and upbeat personality with a team-centric approach while managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Creative & tactical thinker with a proactive, organized and diligent approach
- Ability to maintain confidentiality & discretion in handling sensitive information
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
- Leadership skills to create and manage a team, and mentor junior colleagues
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required. Knowledge of industry platforms such as DMR, Launchmetrics, Cision, Lefty (or other PR & influencer tracking tools) and more is preferred.
Additional Information: Boucheron successfully kicked-off the global re-launch in 2017 with a strong geographical development on historical markets (Europe, Japan, Middle East), while also developing new major territories in China & Korea. Starting in 2023, Boucheron will write another page of its history with the conquest of the American market.
The next step of this plan is the creation of a solid Marketing & Communications team to lead the efforts in establishing Boucheron as the most stylish & cutting-edge French High Jewelry Maison in the American market. In terms of scope, the journey will begin with US & Canada, while the rest of the Americas will be explored at a later stage.
