Client Media Strategist, Influencer Marketing & Social Media (Remote)

As the Client Media Strategist, Influencer Marketing & Social Media you are responsible for creating strategic influencer and social media proposals for new & existing clients who utilize Inmar’s Influencer Marketing solutions. This role is responsible for understanding the strategic goals and objectives of each client and developing sales strategies that align with Inmar’s clients’ strategies. The Client Media Strategist is responsible for internal collaboration, pricing, and creative strategy to put forth the best recommendation for the client. You will work side by side with sales to pitch the proposal, address client questions, and “hand-off” the sold program to execution teams.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Strategic (60%)
    • Thoroughly understand client’s objectives and translate how Inmar’s solutions align with those objectives in a strategic proposal
    • Utilize data, insights, and creativity to inform the campaign strategy
    • Use Salesforce.com to create pricing estimates and develop a comprehensive influencer and media quote that includes deliverables such as view of content, impressions, clicks, engagements
    • Develop and maintain expertise on social media trends, technology, and best practices
    • Build and organize the narrative in proposals
    • Proactively looking for process improvements within the team for more efficient practices
  • Influence (30%)
    • Work closely with the sales team to ensure the client understands the proposal strategy, products & services available
    • Ability to use persuasion to justify strategic recommendation to sales
    • Obtain “expert” level understanding of Inmar Social Commerce product solutions, regularly liaising with Inmar product marketing teams to test beta products and provide client feedback on proposals
    • Maintain positive relationships with internal teams to get their buy in on proposed recommendations
    • Clearly communicate details of each sold-through program to the execution teams
  • Administrative (10%)
    • Maintain Salesforce.com records for all key account activity
    • Generate Insertion Orders for clients and address billing questions
    • Manage travel expenses and budgets, in line with Inmar policies
    • Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 3 years in strategic planning, account management/project management, shopper marketing, agency, retailer or brand (CPG) sales in the social media and/or influencer industry
  • Proficient in Salesforce.com (CRM tool)
  • Proficient in Google Slides and presentation building
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to travel up to 5-10%
