SOCIAL MEDIA DIRECTORMade by Gather, a B2B portfolio of kitchenware and home brands, is looking for a Social Media Director to develop and execute the strategies for Bella, CRUX and Beautiful. Reporting to the VP Brand, you are a creative storyteller who can lead strategic planning, development, and ongoing execution and management of social media activities for our brands. You are a self-starter who is well-versed across all platforms and has agency or in-house experience overseeing social media strategies for multiple brands. This is NYC-based role that requires approximately 2 days a week in-office.RESPONSIBILITIES

:Collaborate with Chief Tik Tok Officer and Brand Design Director to develop and execute the social media strategy, social media campaigns and tactical plans that align with our brand strategies and business goalsDevelop and the brand voice and social publishing calendar for Bella and CRUX; oversee execution of the social calendar for Beautiful by DrewAuthor and oversee social media content creation, planning and execution, working collaboratively with Commercial Marketing, PR, and Product teams on larger tentpole events and initiativesBuild a comprehensive learning agenda and analyze campaign results and determine audience behavior and engagement to ensure that insights are integrated into strategiesPresent strategies, analysis, and key learnings regularly to senior leadership and various stakeholdersBrief internal creative team and cultivate a network of creatives (employees, influencers, photographers, videographers, illustrators, designers, talent) to create content, managing the overall content production budget for socialPartner with media agency to execute paid social campaigns, leading the briefing and providing insight on content optimization (voice, tone, look and feel, messaging, content formats)Liaise with celebrity talent partners, networks, and retailers to conceptualize and execute social media campaignsCollaborate with Customer Care and Product Brand Management teams to develop an open feedback loop for product issues and product development opportunitiesMonitor creators and influencers, staying current on social media trends and potential partnerships – both in the kitchenware category and beyondMaintain awareness and understanding of emerging social media platforms and look for opportunities to innovateIdentify industry trends, news, and cultural moments to increase our brands’ share of voiceRecruit, lead, develop and mentor one direct report (to be hired) and one freelance creator/community managerQUALIFICATIONS:Must have a proven track record building a community on social media from scratchBachelors degree in marketing, journalism or other creative discipline8+ years of experience

developing, deploying and measuring social media programsProficient in basic social publishing/analytics platforms (e.g., Sprout, Hootsuite, Dash Hudson)Deep experience and passion for managing creator/influencer programsExcellent copywriting skills; ability to cultivate a strong PoV across multiple brandsExperience with the creative process from start to finish: excellent briefing skills, experience creating and executing shot lists, and providing art directionGraphic design skills a plusSelf-starter who works well under pressurePassion for cooking a plus*Full-time position with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits program, hybrid work schedule, extended medical/dental/vision, 401k plan company match, EAP, discount program, holidays and Summer Fridays.
