About The Role

The Community and Social Media Manager at Ludeo will possess the ability to build, scale, and sustain an online community using community-building strategies and tools. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational, communication, and writing skills, as well as an ability to foster positive relationships with individuals and organizations. The Community and Social Media manager will be one of the principal ambassadors for the company, addressing internal audiences and the public to share the company’s vision and plans for achieving it.



What You'll Do

  • Coordinate programs with the Creator Success Team lead
  • Partner with the Player success team to create a direct line of communication with Ludeons
  • Draft and distribute communications that promote the company as well as individuals and groups within it
  • Attend relevant events and activities to represent the company and build strong relationships with key community members
  • Respond to inquiries from community members and other parties, and recruit knowledgeable spokespeople or information sources for assistance when needed
  • Build and promote cross-functional relationships within the company
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute public press conferences, working with third-party PR agencies when necessary
  • Manage social media content and virtual groups to enhance the company’s online profile



Requirements:

You have experience and interest in taking a data-driven approach to creating community marketing strategies. You are well versed in social and content platforms, especially TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, Instagram (Threads) + Twitter (X), and Discord, and have a pulse for what creators are bubbling up on those platforms. Experience working with PR, community and social teams is essential to understanding the entire ecosystem this role will hit.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in creative, marketing, public relations, and/or communications
  • A minimum of 5-7+ years of managing core game communities, moderating social media accounts and content creators, and experience launching core video games is strongly preferred.
  • A consistent track record of developing well-reasoned, strategic plans and executing them to completion.
  • Knowledge of video games - especially strategy, shooter, story, action, and arcade games.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build strong, productive professional relationships with cross-functional collaborative partners.
  • Proven ability to work with third-party agencies and talent relations professionals.
  • Expert knowledge of all global social platforms and their nuances: TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, Instagram, Threads, FB, Snapchat, Giphy, Discord, X, Reddit
  • Familiarity with social listening, video analytics, and creator marketing tools like Spiketrap, Synthesio, Tubular, StreamHatchet, and CreatorIQ.
