Insignia Federal Group is a professional Federal Government consulting firm headquartered in Northern Virginia. We are currently seeking an experienced Digital Media Content Creator to produce engaging and entertaining content to support a military health program. The ideal candidate will have a strong visual eye with a demonstrated ability to communicate a brand narrative across multiple digital platforms and optimize engagement in a hybrid work environment.Successful Candidate Will:Capture high-quality audio and video footage and photography. This could be anything from filming sit-down interviews with a multi-camera setup, to covering live/virtual events or producing scripted videos or promotional material.Operate production equipment, including audio consoles, video switchers, pan-tilt-zoom cameras, and wireless microphones.Produce, script, edit, and publish original content and compelling video stories, including cut-downs for social media platforms, and experiment with vertical video storytelling to reach and engage new audiences.Leverage digital media assets and repurpose already existing content and incorporate it into new products and presentations.Assist in planning and support for events and leadership engagements with photography and/or video production of virtual and in-person events.Will be comfortable contributing to planning and proposing topics, themes, and new formats that will engage audiences.Work collaboratively and ensure coordination with various internal teams, Air Force groups, and DoD agencies.Provide recommendations on new and upcoming platforms, tools, and strategies. Advise internal stakeholders on technical capabilities for virtual and in-person events, and instruct users in basic operation of equipment when necessary.Required Qualifications:Ability to successfully undergo a background investigation that requires U.S. Citizenship.College degree in journalism, digital media, public relations, or other communications-related field.2-5 years of professional experience editing and producing digital content ideally for a marketing/production agency or major news organization, government organization or advocacy group.Extensive experience working in Adobe Premiere. Familiarity with After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, video switchers, audio boards, and cameras is needed.Ability to handle audio, video, lighting, and live-streaming technologies is necessary.Ability to create content in an apolitical risk-averse public affairs climate is necessary.Ability to conceptually and creatively visualize news content and effectively communicate technical topics to a variety of audiences.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously and able to change priorities as the mission dictates.Proficient in social media management, and possesses an in-depth understanding of what performs best on each platform. Knowledgeable of upcoming and potentially useful social media tools.Deadline- and detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.Experience producing podcasts is a plus.Interest, knowledge, or a background in the military and/or healthcare is a plus.Please include salary requirements with your application.
