Creative Services Specialist I - Junior Level

Position Summary

Responsible for providing production support to the Communications Department by executing production, design, print projects, website graphics, and social media content updates to assure deadlines are achieved. The position supports department filing system and acts as a backup liaison between communications and client departments and/or vendors to ensure all necessary approval steps are received on select 'production-only' jobs. Creative Services Specialists will capture photos and video as needed, provide photo, video, and audio proficiency and work closely within the department to comply with the GISD brand guide on all organizational materials. Moreover, this role is to design creative concepts for marketing campaigns, print projects and website content updates as well as review organizational analytics and relate it to our goals and objectives. Our Creative Services Specialists will work closely with the Marketing director to stay up to date on all department projects while maintaining the integrity of the Goodwill San Diego brand.

• Creates compelling graphics for marketing collateral including promotional items, website banners, and social media graphics in Adobe Create Suite.
• Develops, organizes, and maintains an audio, photo, and video library.
• Maintains and updates Auto Attendants.
• Maintains VIP program and provides customer service via phone and email.
• Provides exceptional customer service to electronic receipt donors.
• Records and edits monthly podcasts.
• Maintains, updates, and responds to all location service applications including Google, Bing, Yelp, and Apple accounts.
• Attends and supports department events including influencer collaboration.
• Other duties as assigned.
• SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Education: Bachelor's degree in graphic arts or any combination or training and/or experience equivalent to the completion of a bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience: A minimum of six months of experience in graphic arts. Knowledge of digital and offset print manufacturing, with pre-press and finishing processes knowledge. (i.e. file preparation, press quality/color checks, scoring/folding). Must have a high level of interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and take on multiple tasks. Ability to read and understand written sales orders/quotes, sample sheets, and proofs.

Computer Skills: Excellent computer skills. Experience with direct mail (electronic and physical) (i.e. Constant Contact, Campaign Monitor etc.). Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, and Adobe Creative Suite especially InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premier Pro.

Certificates and Licenses: Must have a valid CA driver's license, proof of insurance and driving record acceptable by Goodwill's insurance company.
