We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Director of Marketing to lead our marketing, brand strategy and digital initiatives. As the Director of Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand identity, driving digital transformation, including developing and executing ecommerce and omnichannel strategies, website UX/UI, and overseeing various aspects of marketing, from strategy to execution. Reporting directly to the General Manager, SmartPak, the Director of Marketing will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team and will be responsible for all activities related to conceptualizing and implementing market strategy and achieving marketing targets. Responsible for overseeing marketing initiatives within the company, Director of Marketing will developing areas such as sales management, product development, distribution channel management, marketing communications, advertising and promotions, pricing, market research, and customer service
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Develop and execute the overall brand strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's mission, values, and market positioning.
- Lead digital transformation efforts, leveraging innovative technologies and trends to enhance the brand's digital presence and customer experience.
- Provide visionary leadership in the realm of digital marketing, identifying emerging opportunities and strategies to drive brand growth and engagement.
- Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies across various platforms, and channels including but not limited to social media, email, content marketing, and influencer collaborations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling digital campaigns that resonate with target audiences and drive measurable results.
- Oversee the digital storefront, optimizing user experience, design, and functionality to maximize conversion rates and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with UX/UI teams to ensure seamless online shopping experiences that reflect the brand's values and identity.
- Translate strategic goals into actionable marketing plans, ensuring efficient execution and timely delivery of campaigns and initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance (such as direct mail, shopper incentive programs, email, SMS and printed material) making data-driven decisions to optimize strategies and achieve KPIs.
- Collaborate closely with product teams to align marketing strategies with product launches, updates, and enhancements.
- Coordinate public relations efforts, community relations program and internal communications
- Leverage market insights to provide input on product development, pricing, and positioning strategies.
- Analyze consumer behavior and determine customer personas to coordinate sales and marketing efforts and oversee the management of CRM system
- Manage marketing budgets and P&L effectively, allocating resources to high-impact initiatives and tracking expenses to ensure ROI and set, monitor and report on team goals
- Provide strategic P&L ownership and oversight from a holistic marketing perspective
- Demonstrate strong financial acumen, understanding the relationship between marketing activities, brand growth, and profitability.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education And/Or Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Proven track record of at least 12 years in senior marketing roles, with a focus on brand strategy and digital marketing.
- Strong understanding of digital trends, e-commerce, and evolving customer behaviors.
- Experience in overseeing digital storefronts and optimizing online user experiences.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor a diverse team of marketers.
- Analytical mindset with a demonstrated ability to leverage data to drive strategic decisions and measure marketing effectiveness.
- Prior experience managing budgets and demonstrating proficiency in P&L management.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and levels of the organization.
- An excellent negotiator who is experienced in contracts.
- A decisive individual who possesses a "big picture" perspective and is well versed in systems.
- Broad functional experience in areas of strategic planning and marketing, business and market development, market research and planning and promotions/advertising.
- Adept at multitasking and managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
