Reporting to the Senior Video Producer, Creative Services, the Content Creator supports the Senior Video Producer in creating compelling video, photography and motion graphics for productionglue's clients showcasing a strong narrative for their immersive experiences. In addition, the Content Creator makes content that showcases productionglue's capabilities on social media, in marketing, and in business development. The focus of this role is to support the Global Creative Services team and to understand the creative content needs of the business. The Content Creator is able to work quickly in on-the-fly environments as well as in highly planned and coordinated productions.

The Content Creator is inspired by and keeps up with what other creatives are doing in the industry like Cache Bunny, Karen Cheng, and Ari Fararooy to advance storytelling and engage audiences. They know how to cut together a short reel for Instagram or TikTok, conduct a sit-down interview with company leadership, and capture compelling stills. They aren't afraid to speak their mind and are excited to bring new ideas to the table. The Content Creator will work within a highly collaborative team and have a hand in every step of a production from the planning and concepting through to execution of production and post-production.

Location: This is a hybrid position based in the New York City metro area.

Responsibilities:

  • Capture video/photo coverage of productionglue events for use in social, business development, and marketing
  • Work across teams to plan and strategize various deliverables. From social content, case studies to mini-documentaries and sizzle reels
  • Create storyboards, shot lists, and pre-production materials for events, case studies, and award submission video projects
  • Record and edit internal company wide meetings and events
  • Conduct interviews with clients and productionglue employees to be used in promotional content
  • Fulfill requests from project teams for specific videos and photographic material
  • Maintain integrity of productionglue's media assets library and consistently upload/archive projects as they wrap
  • Ensure content being created is on brand and consistent in quality

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in video pre-production, production, and post-production
  • High level skills and understanding of DSLR/mirrorless/cinema cameras, stabilizer systems, lighting, and sound equipment
  • Expertise with the Adobe Suite of products for video and photography including Premiere, After Effects, Lightroom, Photoshop, and Audition
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of management and department teams
  • Proactive and problem-solving with high organizational skills
  • Strong knowledge of core event production elements, terms, and process
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects in different phases of production and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of log, color, and media encoding with aspect ratios ranging from 16:9 to 4:3, 4:5, and everything in between

Salary Range: $30-50/hour, DOE
