Performance Media Marketer (Media Analyst)
Collaborates with Media & Partnerships, Global Marketing Communications, and Regional Marketing teams to activate digital media efforts. This includes paid media activations in support of global brand marketing initiatives, specific retail programs, as well as support for regional marketing teams.
The Performance Media Marketer (Media Analyst) is responsible for helping to develop and execute a comprehensive performance marketing media strategy for Whole Food Market’s physical store and ecommerce business. They act as a subject matter expert and hands-on activator across performance channels such as display audience buying and paid social.
Responsibilities
- Contributes to the ecommerce and physical store performance marketing strategy and channel implementation for Whole Foods Market.
- Collaborate on budget allocation, analyzing recommendations to modify ad spends based on optimizations to maximize CPA and efficiently scale for acquisition and retention
- Supports in identifying new opportunities and leverage data-driven insights to optimize marketing campaigns for maximum reach and impact.
- Supports team efforts to ensure an exceptional digital experience for WFM customers both in paid and owned channels.
- Partners with Team Members to brainstorm ideas for new brand partnerships and new integrations with current partners.
- Partners with Team Members on the organic social and influencer teams to understand planning and goals and how their assets can be leveraged for paid
- Works with category marketing teams to hear requests, understand needs, and provide general information on trends and resources.
- Gathers, analyzes, and reports on short- and long-term metrics to assess campaign performance and the effectiveness of performance marketing channels.
- Communicates status and results of media efforts to internal team on a regular basis.
- Stay up to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, and leverage them to improve marketing performance and ROI.
Skills
- Ability to contribute to/lead paid social and programmatic campaigns, including audience building, A/B testing, and reporting
- Basic understanding of and experience with latest formats and tools in the social and programmatic space, across all communities.
- Experience with Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, and Programmatic DSPs such as Amazon Ads
- Ability to contribute to / lead digital campaigns; basic knowledge of advanced targeting and segmentation methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening.
- Presents information and responds to questions with guidance, one-on-one, and with internal and external customers.
- Able to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical audiences and stakeholders.

Education & Experience
- BA/BS degree and 2-4 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
