Your Mission
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Content Strategist to join our dynamic marketing team. As a Content Strategist, you will be responsible for creating, implementing, and managing content strategies that align with our overall marketing objectives through owning and creating content. You will play a pivotal role in driving global brand awareness, engaging our target audience, and generating leads through compelling and strategic content. You will own and optimize the accessibility of our content management systems.
Responsibilities:
As the Content Strategist you will be responsible for:
Content Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with our marketing goals and target audience.
- Conduct thorough research to identify relevant industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform content planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define content goals, key messages, and content distribution channels.
- Create an integrated editorial calendar that outlines content topics, formats, and delivery timelines.
Content Creation and Management:
- Produce high-quality, engaging, and SEO-optimized content, including blog posts, articles, case studies, white papers, ebooks, infographics, videos, social media posts, and more
- You will be both a content producer and project manager over global agency/freelance content production as needed
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create compelling content that educates, attracts, and converts our target audience
- Own and optimize the accessibility of our content management systems that house our collateral (Enable Us)
- Ensure content consistency, accuracy, and adherence to brand guidelines
- Edit and proofread content for grammar, style, and factual accuracy
Content Promotion and Distribution:
- Develop and implement content distribution strategies in collaboration with the Director of Demand Generation and Field Marketing Leadership through various channels, such as website, blog, social media, email marketing, influencer partnerships, and industry publications.
- Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to drive organic traffic and improve search rankings.
- Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager to leverage social media platforms and other content amplification techniques to maximize content reach and engagement.
- Monitor content performance metrics, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions to improve content effectiveness.
Your Skills
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, related field, and/or relevant job experience
- Proven experience as a Content Strategist or a similar role.
- Content creation in the construction industry is a strong plus
- Strong understanding of content marketing principles, strategies, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in SEO techniques, content optimization, and research
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation tools.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools to measure content performance.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and develop innovative content ideas.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience in a “player-coach” type of role within a marketing team. This is not a delegation role - you’ll have to roll up your sleeves and do the work as well as manage agency/freelancers who also produce content

The estimated salary range offered for this role is $100,000.00 - $110,000.00. This range is tied to the market for this job in Colorado. Any salary offers extended will be based on skills, knowledge, and experience.
