Job Responsibilities:
The Influencer Specialist supports the establishment and expansion of the ADA’s Influencer Center of Excellence to elevate the ADA’s reputation among dentists and the public as the pre-eminent source of trusted oral health information and resources. The specialist will deepen repuational influence by supporting influencer relationship strategy and social listening. This position willincrease awareness and position the ADA as a trusted source for oral health information among dentists, the public and other key stakeholder audiences. The position will assist with the ADA Ambassador Program as a key point of contact providing resources to the dentists serving as Ambassadors and will also aid in the identification of influencer trends, influencer partnership opportunities and will assist in the management of these campaigns.
Must Have:
- Bachelors degree (minimum 7 years experience in lieu of degree)
- Minimum 3 years experience in social media in a fast-paced, real time environment, including a minimum of one year working with the management and/or development of influencer campaigns to reach target audiences
- Experience working with influencer networks, individual influencers and influencer identification, management and measurement tools
- Creating proactive and reactive communications content
- Building actionable, regular social listening reports
- Researching influencer industry trends
- Managing social media communites and interacting with customers as a brand on social media platforms
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, presentation, problem-solving, project management and technical social platform skills
- Knowledge of emerging digital technologies and best practices, digital and content marketing strategies across social platforms, understanding of influencer strategy, understanding of reputation management, proactive storytelling, crisis communications and how to run analytics, analyze analytics, measure results and provide insights
- Understanding of social media and digital marketing, specifically influencer strategy and social listening
- Ability to identify trends, think outside of the box, manage multiple complex projects, shift priorities in real-time, meet tight deadlines, build and manage diverse relationships, work effectively independently and on teams
- Proficiency in the following applications:
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Snapchat, TikTok, Threads and other emerging platforms)
- Content management systems (Sprout)
- Social listening and influencer platforms (Meltwater or similar)
- Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Google Analytics, social monitoring tools, Trello and Netsuite
- Some Evening/Weekend work
Nice to Have:
- Experience at a digital, advertising, media or PR agency is preferred
- Familiarity with health care issues
- Agile Methodology understanding
