Compensation: $115,000 to $160,000 Annually

We are seeking a talented Digital First Content Director who is passionate about creating digital video content and leading a content strategy that highlights diverse perspectives and talent across SPE’s AVOD Audience Network. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating content around Sony Film and TV IP for social media platforms, including YouTube and TikTok, collaborating with content creators, and a strong understanding of social media trends and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the digital first content strategy across various social media platforms, including the Fandom Lab content creator strategy with a focus on diverse perspectives.
  • Conceptualize, script, storyboard, shoot and edit engaging and visually appealing short form videos that resonate with our communities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including channel managers, community managers, Diversity & Inclusion, marketing and production, as well as external vendors and creators to ensure video content aligns with goals.
  • Manage video production budget, schedules, deadlines and deliverables
  • Analyze video performance data to inform content strategy to optimize reach and engagement.
  • Stay up to date with social media trends and best practices, and implement them in our video content
  • Maintain brand standards and legal guidelines across all video content

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in an entertainment/media environment
  • 5+ years of experience with digital storytelling and building marketing campaigns
  • Bachelors degree in media, communications, or related field
  • Ability to partner with creatives; clear understanding of content production

The anticipated base salary for this position is $115,000-$160,000. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
