Job Description

This position will report to the Communications lead for corporate marketing and be responsible for the development of a robust communications strategy. This role will elevate our presence in the fintech marketplace by communicating to the industry analyst and influencer community. The Communications Manager will also play a critical role in helping to expand the reach of SS&C Technologies, its programs, and thought leaders among key audiences. Working with our Communications team, you will assist in the development and implementation of impactful strategies that build on our creative content and storytelling capability. The ability to distill complex details into interesting short bites of information for blog posts, articles, press releases, and other creative content is key to the candidate’s success.

  • Support PR lead on media relationships and events, including but not limited to press releases, media roundtables, one-on-one interviews, etc.
  • Crafting annual and quarterly plans to engage and influence industry analysts and influencers.
  • Developing and delivering messaging for analysts and influencers on topics like product news, and success stories, along with product and service benefits.
  • Responding to all industry information and survey requests, including those from Gartner, Forrester, IDC and Cutter, and others.
  • Support social lead with design, writing, and post content to digital media channels, including Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other relevant sites.
  • In coordination with the Communications team help develop and execute on media calendar and editorial calendar.
  • Support the creation of key messages, promotional materials, external communications, press releases, newsletters, etc.

NYC: Salary range for the position: 100,000 USD to 120,000 USD. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.
