Job Description:
The Video Content Creator position is responsible for overseeing the planning, production, and editing of video related projects for numerous clients as well as internal projects for Cambria. They will work closely with social media, creative, and marketing teams to develop creative concepts and deliver measurable results.
The focus of this position is to develop short form, attention-grabbing video content. Ads will need to focus on grabbing a viewer’s attention within the first couple of seconds and effectively drive an intended conversion.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Proven video editing, motion graphics and animated content creation experience
- Collaborate with Cambria’s social media, digital, creative, and other team members to create video content that effectively drives results.
- Participate in developing creative strategy, brainstorming, and storyboarding for video projects.
- Coordination and maintaining workload and workflow.
- Oversee planning and necessary communications to prepare for gathering footage.
- Conduct both on-site and off-site video shoots.
- Edit and animate social content and ads for various social media platforms.
- Partner with the Creative Director to provide direction on motion graphics, typography, and other dynamic elements to produce a high quality, engaging final product.
- Assist in troubleshooting and providing technical support for video related inquiries.
- Oversee equipment upkeep and appropriate use of video equipment.
- Detail-oriented and capable of producing a highly polished final product
- Highly proficient in video production and video-related equipment
- Highly proficient in Adobe Premiere and After Effects with some experience in other Adobe creative suite programs
- Familiar with producing for social media channels and other video-based digital platforms
- Proficient in motion animations and incorporating graphics and text into video edits
- Capable of bridging marketing strategies with creative strategies using video advertising
- Excellent communication skills and ability to effortlessly collaborate with others, both internally and externally
- Capable of receiving creative direction and handling criticism related to work
- Capable of managing projects from start to finish, overseeing project timelines and deadlines, and handling client communications related to video projects.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 2 - 8+ years experience in all aspects of video production.
- Portfolio showcasing strong visual thinking/display.
- Sound understanding of photography, video content, and typography.
- Proficient in Adobe CS tools – specifically photoshop, premiere pro, after effects.
- Ability to evaluate and direct motion graphics projects.
- Adapts to the requirements of a fast-paced environment while maintaining strict attention to detail and quality.
- Possesses excellent oral / written communication skills, the ability to speak effectively to leadership, as well as project a professional appearance.
- Ability to create and maintain highly organized server and document files.
- Effectively drives and delivers on multiple assignments at one time.
- Ability to be lead creative on smaller projects with little to no supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four-year college or university preferred.
Experience: Must have 3 - 8+ years of related work experience in ad/marketing agency or brand marketing department.
