We are seeking a Head of Global Product Marketing to help develop the digital roadmap and build a robust framework for product marketing campaigns and plans. The right candidates will be successful in leading and developing the in-house marketing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop the global corporate product marketing plan in support of the company vision that reinforces and builds upon our positioning in different markets and maximises owned and paid for channels.
  • Develop a global approach to product and campaign planning and lead all activities in support of that.
  • Lead product marketing, reporting and ROI – ensuring the right balance of marketing mix and global vs local approach. Responsible for developing core value proposition against product groupings and development and management of all collateral planning and associated activities (events, sponsorship, media) in support of said plan.
  • Build robust global digital footprint through development of a digital first strategy. Responsible for content and optimisation including best practice frameworks and measurement. Responsible for product related content on social channels, web etc and working closely with Head of Brand & Communications to ensure robust content strategy for digital channels.
  • Design omni-channel campaigns that drive preference for Beazley. Set clear objectives and manage, monitor and report against effectiveness and ROI.
  • Lead a forward thinking, pro-active team focusing on maximising the success of all stakeholder journeys.
  • Develop and communicate best practice frameworks for the team and the activities we undertake.
  • Keep up to date with all Beazley products and where they are in their lifecycle.
  • Build strong ties with the business and a deep understanding of our products and value propositions.
  • Maintain a regular, active awareness of business activities across all Beazley business areas and use personal judgement to determine what information needs communicating.
  • Keep up to date with industry and technology changes that impact the business and product offerings.
  • Ensure Marketing is actively involved and supporting the business strategy and strategic initiatives.
  • Identify and target the right audiences to create strong brand preference.
  • Lead and support product related content creation across Beazley.
  • Manage the marketing budget.
  • Responsible as required for commissioning and managing external supplier relationships.

  • Provide effective performance feedback on a regular basis, ensuring employees are recognised and rewarded for their contribution. Conversely, providing timely feedback to address poor performance, taking disciplinary action as appropriate
  • Maintain transparent and effective communication through department meetings, one-to-one meetings, email etc
  • Encourage knowledge sharing and effective delegation to minimise key person dependencies
  • Work with other team managers ensuring team resources overall are effectively utilised and people are appropriately challenged
  • Encourage direct reports to think proactively about their careers, signposting development and stretch opportunities for strong performers where possible
  • Work with Talent Management as appropriate to escalate performance concerns ensuring set objectives are clear and measurable and progress is tracked accordingly

  • Experience of managing and leading teams
