Compensation
$84,000- $125,000
Position Summary
The Macallan is the world’s finest and most admired single malt Scotch whisky brand with a vision to establish The Macallan as the Ultimate Scottish Luxury House. The USA is the largest market for Edrington and The Macallan globally, providing the brand with scale, halo and internationally credibility to become a true global luxury brand.
The Macallan Assistant Brand Manager is a key part of the USA marketing team and will be responsible for supporting and delivering uncompromised excellence in execution, through an enhanced lens of luxury. This role will be primarily responsible for executing national 360 marketing programs ensuring all activities are in line with The Macallan Brand DNA and luxury standards. They will play a pivotal role in ensuring The Macallan brand stays relevant to the US target demographic by supporting with various marketing tasks and activities that ladder back to the brands objectives and growth plans.
Job Description
- Be The Macallan brand custodian for the USA, ensuring brand standards are clearly communicated, upheld and executed with excellence. Educating and correct where necessary to promote commercial excellence principles and luxury behaviors.
- Support with planning and executing national marketing campaigns for new product development launches.
- Effectively manage agency partners and all related projects including public relations, influencer, CRM, social media, and paid media.
- Assist with experiential events in proximity markets during the planning and execution period.
- Collaborate in the creation of trade/consumer facing tools, digital assets, POS and gifting campaigns.
- Create meaningful PowerPoint pitches and presentations deliverable to senior decision makers internally and externally for use throughout various strategic meetings.
- Develop post campaign reports including ROI and KPI tracking.
- Manage the central brand budget inclusive of PO creation, invoicing, forecasting and monthly tracking.
Skills And Experience
- Educated to a degree level or equivalent
- 5+ years’ marketing experience in luxury goods and services or the food and beverage industry.
- Must be comfortable interacting with internal and external leadership.
- Agency management skills, clear briefing, and communication and negotiation skills.
- Luxury marketing skills and attention to detail.
- Must be able to work and develop relationships in a cross-functional team and influence stakeholders.
- Project management experience and time management skills.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in luxury goods, digital media/social media, and competency in digital marketing tools.
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment; comfortable with ambiguity and always looking to improve.
- Strong interpersonal and networking skills, building good business relationships in and out of the organization.
- Deep understanding of e-commerce and social media
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
- Well organized with an ability to handle multiple/diverse tasks while adapting to changes in a fast-paced environment.
- Out-going team player who has a flexible approach to work.
- Self-starter – proactive and able to effectively prioritize and manage own workload.
- Travel requirement up to 30% as needed to perform job function.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be eligible to work in the US.
