We’re looking for a Social Media Manager with deep expertise of all social platforms to engage with our audience and own all social media campaigns. Ideally, this person is someone who lives and breathes social media, has a great eye for content and loves working in small teams where they can directly influence a growing business. This is a great role for someone who has a strong pulse on relevant trends, understands best practices on each platform and has a data-driven approach to understanding content performance.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage the social media calendar across all platforms, setting targets and timelines for key brand initiatives and content creation shot lists and production.
  • Responsible for pivoting in the moment based on trends and performance.
  • Develop, drive and execute social media strategies that drive business goals,such as audience growth, engagement, acquisition, reach and awareness but with a focus on driving sales through Instagram and TikTok stores.
  • Occasionally record, film and shoot editorial content to be published on company social channels. Manage on-camera talent as needed.
  • Ensure content for VIAVIA’s private label brand and all third-party brands are in line with both the overall VIAVIA platform voice, but are differentiated based on brand-specific needs.
  • Monitor fans and follower communication, and respond in a helpful, brand-positive manner.
  • Conduct on-going trend and competitive analysis to inspire content ideas and build relevance and engagement on brand social channels.
  • Moderate the collection, curation, and integration of user-generated content on social media and the e-commerce website.
  • Manage weekly/monthly campaign performance reporting.
  • Based on data, suggest and execute initiatives to improve engagement and performance.
  • Develop an engaging and brand-aligned content calendar every month.
  • Manage our organic influencer gifting program

Experience & Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience managing social channels, with an emphasis on TikTokDeep knowledge of and passion for social media platforms and trends across platforms – you’re an expert in platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X and Pinterest.
  • Knowledge of the influencer space across multiple platforms.
  • Experience with social media and influencer publishing tools.
  • Strong creative opinion and a good eye for smart, effective content—you appreciate and admire the art of excellent brand content.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit with an ability to structure ambiguous problems, analyze complex processes, synthesize data and drive toward optimal commercial solutions.
  • Works with a high sense of urgency and integrity, easily and quickly adapts to change, and is motivated by deadlines and new challenges.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; can patiently and effectively communicate with a diverse and multicultural group of peers across time zones and continentsNimble, scrappy and adaptable.
  • Can roll with the punches and thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment, including pitching in to support other persons and teams.
  • A positive, can-do attitude. You’re not deterred by minor setbacks and are able to swiftly overcome ambiguity.
  • Will consistently cultivate a culture of inclusion where all team members feel a sense of belonging and can bring their authentic selves to work.
  • Ability to travel as needed, including internationally.
  • Strong proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office programs and other workload management programs.
  • Bonus points for experience in the fashion space.

$75,000 - $90,000 a year

Competitive compensation ($75,000 - $90,000) including generous equity in a well-funded environment.

This role’s level, job title and corresponding salary will be determined by the selected candidate’s professional experiences and related skill sets.
