Sr. Associate of Affiliate Marketing

We are hiring for a Senior Associate of Affiliate Marketing to expand and optimize our affiliate PR program to ultimately drive traffic and D2C sales. This role manages relationships with affiliates, creates and optimizes campaigns, tracks performance, and analyzes data to identify new opportunities or pivot strategies.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for digital marketing, a strong understanding of the affiliate landscape, and a proven track record of success in driving growth through affiliate channels. This opportunity is ideal for a self-motivated, technically savvy marketer who is comfortable scaling a robust budget to drive consideration and purchase of MERIT products through affiliate strategies. This role reports to the Director of Acquisition.
Responsibilities:
- Drive year-over-year channel growth through affiliate strategies and tactics
- Partner closely with Influencer, PR and Brand partnerships to maximize the budget at efficiency
- Cultivate and manage relationships (partners, publishers) that drive new and creative ways of generating activity, traffic and revenue
- Align all affiliate strategies to the brand mission, vision and and go-to-market strategy
- Increase MERIT's search engine visibility by managing placements on leading and long-tail organic and paid media sites
- Partner with creative to ensure timely assets/asset updates for affiliate programs, and manage creative assets for affiliate on an ongoing basis
- Continuously analyze the program and determine areas for growth and opportunity
- Identify and implement best practices and new trends in affiliate marketing
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in DTC or ecommerce-based affiliate marketing
- Proven background in growth, performance, and direct response marketing
- Experience building and managing affiliate marketing programs using Pepperjam or Howl
- Thorough knowledge of affiliate networks and partners
- Advanced proficiency in tracking links, pixels, and affiliate marketing measurement KPIs
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Familiarity with analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Google Looker Studio, or Tableau)
- Excellent business acumen, communication, and negotiation capabilities
- An ability to work in a fast-paced, high growth rate, start-up environment
- An ability to effectively prioritize and multitask
We are proud to offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits package in addition to salary compensation. The annual salary range for this role is $70,000-$80,000 in addition to bonus potential, stock options, a 401(k) match, health benefits, paid time off and more. The final salary will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the individual's experience and qualifications.
