eCommerce PR / Influencer Specialist
As a PR/Influencer Manager for our D2C client, you will be an integral part of our client’s marketing efforts, responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key influencers and media outlets. You will work closely with the client to develop and execute successful PR and influencer campaigns that align with their overall marketing goals and strategies.
In this role, you will be responsible for researching, identifying and engaging with relevant influencers in the client's industry. You will collaborate with these influencers to create authentic and impactful content that resonates with their followers and promotes the client's brand. You will also be responsible for managing the client's media relations, including identifying opportunities for press coverage and coordinating media interviews and events.
The ideal candidate for this role would be an experienced PR/Influencer Manager with a passion for the D2C industry. They should have a proven track record of developing and executing successful PR and influencer campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, and revenue. The candidate should be highly motivated, able to work independently as a remote contractor, and have a solid understanding of the latest trends and strategies in the PR and influencer marketing space. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are a must, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute PR and influencer marketing strategies that align with the brand's overall marketing objectives
- Manage relationships with key media outlets, influencers, and partners
- Pitch and secure media placements, product reviews, and other brand exposure opportunities
- Identify, onboard, and manage a network of influencers to support marketing and sales objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, creative, and product teams to ensure PR and influencer campaigns are fully integrated with other marketing initiatives
- Analyze campaign performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to optimize future campaigns
Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong understanding of PR and influencer marketing strategies and tactics
- Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with influencers and media contacts
- Ability to create and execute effective PR campaigns
- Familiarity with social media platforms and their respective influencer communities
- Experience in managing influencer partnerships and negotiating contracts
- Strong analytical skills to track and measure the success of campaigns
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in PR, influencer marketing, or a related field
- Strong relationships with media outlets, influencers, and other key stakeholders in the industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in social media platforms and tools used for PR and influencer marketing
- Experience in the D2C eCommerce is required
Additional Information
- This is a 1099 independent contractor position
- 100% remote work
- The number of work hours is based on the number of client accounts you have at any given time
- You have a flexible schedule, but meetings and communications with clients occur between the hours of 9 am - 5 pm EST
- You have the freedom to set your own rate
- You won't have to hunt for your own client leads
- The ecosystem comes with various support functions, including scheduling, a designated billing department, and other admin functions so you can focus on what you do best
- You will have designated email and Zoom lines for client communication
