Manager, Brand Strategy
Gallery Media Group is a modern day media company. The company's overall mission is to 'Make Positivity Louder'. GMG focuses efforts on where consumer attention currently lies and continues to shift.
Gallery Media Group includes women’s lifestyle brand PureWow (W25-45), youth male culture brand, ONE37pm (M18-34), and a collection of 75+ social-first consumer brands, such as @cocktails, @moms, and @recipes, on Instagram and TikTok that reach over 200M consumers. In addition to premium advertising solutions and consumer-facing events, the company has a robust influencer marketing business with a vast creator network that GMG employs for work on behalf of their Fortune 500 clients.
The company was founded in 2010 by CEO, Ryan Harwood, and is now part of VaynerX, the Gary Vaynerchuk-owned holding company.
The Manager, Brand Strategy is responsible for pre-sale ideation, writing and creating presentations to sell cross-platform marketing opportunities across Gallery Media Group's brands and O&O platforms.
- Development of marketing proposals that are rooted in culture with a focus on creative thinking and innovations, including, but not limited to custom creative/branded content, social and digital media, video, data, influencer marketing, and events
- Work within specific Brand Partnerships categories on all RFP responses (reactive and proactive), pulling together components from research, marketplace insights, and brand marketing into one cohesive response, including concept and pricing
- Support department programs as needed
- Serve as category expert by identifying industry & cultural trends
- Translate marketplace needs into integrated offerings including media across all platforms, sponsorships, and agency offerings
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-3 years digital media, advertising, marketing or creative writing experience
- Demonstrate excellent strength in writing, concepting and presenting proposals
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
- Entrepreneurial minded with a strong sense of collaboration
- Growing knowledge of current digital, social, and mobile advertising platforms and branded content
In 3-6 Months You Will...
- Become a multi-category expert, driving all marketing proposals (proactive and reactive) for your verticals rooted in consumer and cultural trends.
- Collaborate with sales partner(s) to develop strategic client initiatives to deliver on their KPIs by leveraging Gallery Media Group capabilities.
- Understand all Gallery Media Group processes and platforms, and have the opportunity to proactively come up with new innovative and creative solutions for both internal ways of working and external materials.
Location: New York (hybrid)
