Summary:

The Commercial Operations Analyst is a key part of the business operations team that ensures FUJIFILM Sonosite’s commercial success. This role will be critical in measuring sales efficiency and effectiveness by creating and managing sales quotas, maintaining sales territory alignment and structure in Salesforce.com, and measuring quota attainment. The Commercial Operations Analyst will also play a critical role in ensuring sales data accuracy and take a lead role in determining how sales data should be structured and maintained.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible for creating annual sales quotas and measuring quota attainment on a monthly basis. Utilize sales territory alignment software to maintain global sales territories and lead sales territory balancing exercises with our sales leaders when necessary.
  • Ensure Salesforce.com account data is as clean as possible and measure sales activity effectiveness at different accounts and the correlation to sales success. Utilize this analysis to create sales targeting lists and provide insight to the sales team routinely.
  • Review and understand sales compensation plans to ensure our systems and reporting can support the compensation plan structure in an automated way. Work with the Sales Operations team to ensure they understand the importance of data accuracy in automating sales compensation payments.
  • Administer our customer experience platform, creating surveys and dashboards for other teams, feeding survey responses back to Salesforce.com and ensuring all customer interactions are in compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Manage our Definitive Healthcare data, run reports for other business units and incorporate key metrics into Salesforce.com.
  • Conceptualize, develop and maintain all sales reports in Tableau and Salesforce.com.
  • Create slide deck for monthly sales call on a timely basis, seeking input from both Sales and Marketing on monthly topics.
  • Ensure data integrity through monitoring and helping to define reporting structures, including primary responsibility for customer account data.
  • Work cross functionally with other departments and teams including Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing and Finance.
  • Strong customer focus, the ability to manage complexity, the capability to be resourceful and a continuous learner.
  • Other projects and ad hoc analysis as assigned.

Knowledge/Experience:

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in analytics with a focus on sales, marketing, finance or business operations,
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics or related fields.
  • Strong analytical skills. Minimum of 2-3 years' experience managing projects and initiatives
  • Experience designing, developing and scripting reports & dashboards in Tableau
  • A knowledge of CRM systems, workflow and reporting (Salesforce.com is preferred)

  • Demonstrated ability to pull together insights from a variety of sources and develop strategic guidance for field teams that result in a business decision or action.
  • Strong business acumen and excellent communication and interpersonal skills; consultative background preferred.
  • Demonstrated communication and teamwork skills.
  • Process-oriented, accountable and trustworthy.
  • An analytical thinker; understand business at a higher-level while being able to prioritize projects and deliver excellent results in a timely basis.
  • Highly organized with the ability to assess requests, establish deliverable timelines and consistently meet your deadlines.
  • Excellent Power Point and Excel skills to both analyze financial numbers and present results via Power Point.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25lbs with or without accommodations

Salary and Benefits:

  • $57,000 - $80,000 depending on experience + variable bonus opportunity
