Social Graphic Designer
Betway is a leading global Sports Betting and iGaming brand, licensed and operating in more than 25 countries and markets around the world. Digital Gaming Corporation (DGC), a Super Group LTD (NYSE: SGHC) company, operates the Betway brand in nine states across the USA, offering sports-betting, iGaming, and live dealer table games to customers across multiple states. We do this through web and mobile applications, using some of the most established Sports Betting and iGaming software and products available.
We are looking for a Social Graphic Designer with 2 – 3 years of graphic design experience to join our New York City office.
The Social Graphic Designer will be responsible for helping grow Betway’s social presence and customer engagement through conceptualizing, designing, and creating assets for our channels. With support from the Manager of Social & Influencer Marketing, and the overall Marketing department, this role will contribute to the impact social media has on the success of the business.
We are looking for an imaginative team member who can ideate and create content for sports fans and sports bettors that can be delivered across a variety of social media channels. They should be an avid fan with an understanding of sports betting and a passion for telling stories through visuals.
Responsibilities include participating in team editorial planning sessions to help with conceptualization, overseeing the graphic design and visual identity of our social channels, and analyzing of what types of content they designed are best performing. Their work will help strengthen and execute the US social strategy, elevating the Betway channels to a premier sports betting experience. The Social Graphic Designer will collaborate with internal Marketing teams and our sponsorship partners in the professional sports landscape to create social content that appeals to existing and prospective customers, ensuring every opportunity to promote the brand is maximized.
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Design graphics for our social portfolio, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, etc.
- Develop graphics packages to be used in social videos, such as interviews, highlight clips, etc.
- Aid In the execution strategy via design with the Manager of Social & Influencer Marketing.
- Ideate and conceptualize content weekly for all sports – NFL, NHL, WNBA, NBA, NWSL, MLS, MLB, etc.
- Create and own a production schedule to ensure projects are delivered on time.
- Work with our Creative Studio to consider how the promotional assets coexist with their organic designs.
- Strengthen Betway’s US brand positioning in their designs.
- Evaluate reporting for their designs to provide recommendations for optimization.
- Work with the larger Marketing team on brand activations and influencer content.
- Provide guidance to the Marketing team and various other internal stakeholders on how social design can help execute their plans (promotions, events, offers, sponsorships, etc.).
- Assist with some additional design work for Editorial and Digital Marketing teams on an as needed basis.
- Flexible with working non-traditional hours. For example, work hours outside of Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5 pm EST, and the possibility of work on holidays (i.e., Thanksgiving or Christmas Day).

Essential Criteria:
- 2-3 years of graphic design experience; beneficial to have extended experience with illustration, production, and photography.
- 1+ years of social media specific experience, including designing for social and executing social strategies.
- Strong understanding of layout, typography, and color theory.
- Well versed with Adobe Suite (including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects).
- Experience working with clients or internal stakeholders and delivering against their briefs or requirements.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge of consumer marketing and how social media can be successfully integrated.
- Deadline and detail-oriented, with capability to work cross-functionally and in a team setting.
- Must be an independent, strategic, and creative thinker who is a strong team player and willing to take on additional responsibilities, as necessary.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Ability to think outside of the box, be innovative, adaptable, and come up with creative solutions to changing business challenges.
- Knowledge of sports and U.S. betting culture.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to pitch content ideas and participate in team brainstorms.
- Able to take direction and feedback from senior designers or internal clients.
