Paid Social Media Manager

This position requires a detailed understanding of social media platforms and current social media trends, specifically as it relates to paid strategy and execution on Meta platforms. This role requires staying on top of social media advertising best practices and understanding creative production needs and processes. In addition to having experience managing paid advertising programs, we’re looking for a team player who is willing to go above and beyond to ensure top notch collaboration, supporting agency and client social media needs. This role will report to the Director of Social Media Services.

The ideal candidate will have 2 to 4 years of experience strategizing, executing, and optimizing paid social media programs, including multi-layer advertising campaigns and organic post boosting. Added bonus if the candidate also has experience managing influencer partnerships. The Paid Social Media Manager will bring a strategic approach, and sharp analytic abilities to the table while maintaining day-to-day program management for multiple clients including restaurants and hotels, as well as food and beverage products. A passion and interest in the hospitality industry is a must!

Requirements:

  • 2 to 4 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Proficiency with Meta platforms: Instagram and Facebook
  • Ability to easily navigate Facebook Business Manager and Facebook Ads Manager
  • Experience with influencer partnerships is a plus
  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Klayvio and/or Mailchimp integrations is a plus
  • Proficient in Google Suite & common social media tools
  • Must be based in Ohio
  • This role will have the ability to work in our Cincinnati office with work-from-home/remote options, and up to approximately 20% travel

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range for this role: $50,000 to $60,000

Strategic Thinking & Analytical Abilities

  • Has a strong understanding of social media as a brand communications tool and can strategize how social media can drive results to meet client’s goals.
  • Has a true passion for brand strategy and understands the roles that paid social media and influencer marketing play.
  • Utilizes social analytics to inform decisions and recommendations for social media programs.
  • Continually growing in knowledge of the social media landscape and emerging trends.
  • Supports agency leadership in business development, by speaking to Carbonate’s capabilities and core value proposition for clients and utilizing a consultative approach to selling paid social media services

Technical Skills

  • Builds and executes on client social media strategies for a variety of projects and types of clients, with a high level understanding of clients’ digital ecosystem (social, website, email marketing) and social media’s role within it.

  • Manage and develop social media paid programs including curation of client assets and collaboration with the creative team, providing clear content needs and design objectives for each platform.
  • Identify and coordinate influencer partnerships on behalf of clients and tracks agreed upon deliverables.
  • Establish social media campaigns, schedule social media content and manage customer journey.
  • Utilize data and analytics to meet client goals relating to revenue and ROI on social media programs
  • Ensures all deliverables are of the highest quality and relevant to the client’s business challenges.

  • Is able to effectively represent the social media team on accounts and collaborate with other team members, and independently bring to life social media strategy developed with agency Director of Social Media Services

  • Is able to collaborate with our creative services team to develop client-facing timelines and internal processes for content development
  • Builds confidence with the client team ensuring that strategic solutions and paid budgets are well managed
