The Role
Citizen Relations has an immediate opening for an Account manager in our Creator Marketing group. Reporting to the Director, Creator Marketing, you’ll play a key role in executing our client’s creator programs and collaborate with digital, creative and PR teams to extend brand key messages into social media communities through creators. You’ll work directly with our North American team of digital strategists to ensure timely management and execution of creator campaigns of all kinds.
You’ll be an advocate for the influence of creators within the agency and responsible for monitoring the social media posts of creators and other influencers, providing regular reports and analysis to demonstrate impact, while regularly relaying insights and feedback to the team to strengthen our work. You’ll be successful in this role if you’re collaborative but able to work well independently and are a strong communicator.
Responsibilities
- Execute clients' creator strategies with a focus on demonstrating the impact
- Be a contributing voice in the creator marketing strategy process, ensuring the audience and objectives are always considered.
- Support project management with creator sourcing, vetting and outreach.
- Be responsible for ongoing creator engagement across different campaigns, including contract negotiations, content reviews and approvals.
- Be responsible for staying up-to-date with creators across different campaigns, providing answers to questions and relaying insights and feedback to the team.
- Monitor content performance, providing regular reports and analysis
- Create and optimize paid social ad campaigns with the support of the team
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a creator marketing, influencer marketing, social media or digital communications role
- Able to manage multiple projects with rapid and shifting timelines
- Strong client-facing skills, including excellent verbal and written communication, active listening, and problem-solving.
- A natural curiosity, with a desire to learn, grow and constantly improve
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to learn on the job
- A can-do, positive attitude
Additional Information
- Experience using influencer management tools (e.g. Creator IQ, Tagger), social media monitoring tools (e.g. Talkwalker, Newswhip), website analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Data Studio), project management tools (e.g. Asana), and/or visual design tools (e.g. Canva) is considered an asset
