Black Love Inc. is a Black-owned media company dedicated to showcasing diverse representations of love within the Black community, and a division of The Confluential Company, a media & entertainment production studio and financier. Our endeavors span film/TV, original digital content, audio, live events, and social media. Originating with the groundbreaking BLACK LOVE docu-series, we've evolved to provide a wide spectrum of digital content and live experiences that affirm, educate, and entertain the Black Gen-Z & Millennial audience.

Job Summary

As the Growth Marketing Manager at Black Love, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing a comprehensive channel strategy to drive growth. Your ability to create captivating consumer-facing content will be as crucial as your strategy-setting skills. You will be responsible for leveraging data and metrics to iterate and optimize our marketing efforts, all while operating within limited budgets. What You’ll Do

Develop and execute a multi-channel marketing strategy encompassing the website, podcast network, social media platforms, live events, and the app.

Develop and execute user acquisition campaigns to drive app downloads, website visits, and podcast subscriptions & implement strategies to increase user engagement and retention.

Create audience and customer segmentation and identify and prioritize marketing channels based on their effectiveness in reaching target audiences.

Develop and own an analytics dashboard to monitor and analyze marketing growth metrics and KPIs and continuously optimize campaigns and channel performance to achieve growth targets.

Create visually engaging marketing collateral, including newsletters, blog posts, social media content, and promotional materials as well as presentations and decks for internal/external audiences.

Maximize impact with limited budgets by creatively leveraging organic and low-cost marketing tactics.

Work with the Sales and Partnerships team to Ideate and execute on influencer, community and brand partnerships & collaborations.

Requirements

Strong familiarity with the Black Love brand and target audience, or experience in multi-cultural marketing

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.

Proven experience 7-10 years in growth marketing, preferably in the media or startup space.

Strong understanding of various marketing channels, including SEO, email marketing, social media, and content marketing.

Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and metrics-driven decision-making.

Creative thinker with a knack for creating visually captivating consumer-facing content.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to create engaging content and presentations.

Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms, including analytics and email marketing software.

Black Love, Inc. provides a competitive salary range of $100,000 - $120,000, commensurate with experience . Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, 401k, and flexible PTO.

We have embraced a hybrid work model, combining the flexibility of remote work with in-person collaboration. As such, we’re looking for candidates based in Los Angeles and willing and able to commute to the office 2-3x/week.
