The Del Taco Social Media Content Creator will be part of a fun team that will focus efforts on social media content creation including static posts, videos, memes, polls and other trending content on brand and in line with our social strategy.

• Work with Manager of Brand Content to support a robust social media strategy for Del Taco with unique creative executions across targeted social media channels.
• Must have the creative ability/skill set/production experience with equipment and editing tools to personally create content from start to finish including static images, videos, GIF’s, etc. The majority of the role will require independent content creation and will not include outsourcing production to other content creators or agencies.
• Help coordinate social photo & video shoots, shot lists and creating mood boards.
• Help manage and execute influencer campaigns.

Education, Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, or equivalent experience in Advertising or related field
• Minimum of 3 years managing social media
• Demonstrable personal mastery of photography and video production for social media and other entertainment and marketing channels.
• Strategic and creative thinker with a creative/artistic eye and ability to create content independently including photos, videos, memes and graphic posts for social media and other entertainment and marketing channels.
• Strong familiarity with the Del Taco brand and product lines
• Is a Del Taco Raving Fan
• Avid user of social media, with proficiency using Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok etc.
• Clear understanding of basic marketing principles
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Strong time management skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Take initiative to improve processes and take necessary steps to help meet business objectives
• Writing and developing content is energizing and rewarding for you
• Familiar with paid social and growing an audience

• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator and Photoshop and other video editing platforms.
