Job Description Summary

The Senior Marketing Coordinator is responsible for conceiving, executing, and overseeing a diverse array of marketing initiatives ranging from digital marketing social media, public relations, creative services, website administration, partnerships, and email marketing, all aimed at achieving the hotel’s revenue goals. This position requires close teamwork with key departmental leaders to create innovative collateral, seasonal packages, and programming. A crucial goal is to conceptualize distinctive activations and cultivate partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders, elevating the guest experience across the property.

A candidate for this position must possess the following applicable knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to demonstrate and provide applicable examples to support his/her competency.

  • Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English Language
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills & ability to multi-task
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word PowerPoint and Excel computer programs
  • Ability to be fully versed in all banquet space, facilities & capabilities of competitive set
  • Ability to handle special projects in addition to daily tasks
  • Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks

Education And/or Experience

Prior marketing and social media marketing experience, college degree preferred.
