Job Description Summary
The Senior Marketing Coordinator is responsible for conceiving, executing, and overseeing a diverse array of marketing initiatives ranging from digital marketing social media, public relations, creative services, website administration, partnerships, and email marketing, all aimed at achieving the hotel’s revenue goals. This position requires close teamwork with key departmental leaders to create innovative collateral, seasonal packages, and programming. A crucial goal is to conceptualize distinctive activations and cultivate partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders, elevating the guest experience across the property.
Job Description
Key Job Functions
- Oversee the hotel's social media agency, guiding content calendars, influencer stays, and social advertising strategies.
- Manage the PR agency to establish hotel talking points and provide innovative information for ongoing and seasonal news opportunities.
- Collaborate with Field Marketing to create branded materials and hotel content, encompassing items like signage, key cards and hotel collateral.
- Develop marketing partnerships, promotions, and programs with local businesses, music, and arts entities to elevate the brand and guest experience.
- Work with PR agency to identify and engage co-marketing companies that align with the hotel's brand to initiate newsworthy programs or events.
- Work with PR agency to create unique programming in coordination with the hotel operations team, suitable for PR articles and social media content.
- Work with all departments, including Operations, F&B, and Sales, to execute promotions and campaigns targeting in-house guests, local customers, and repeat customers.
- Assist on additional tasks as requested by the Director of Sales and Marketing and Field Marketing Manager.

Qualifications And Skills
A candidate for this position must possess the following applicable knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to demonstrate and provide applicable examples to support his/her competency.
- Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English Language
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management skills & ability to multi-task
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word PowerPoint and Excel computer programs
- Ability to be fully versed in all banquet space, facilities & capabilities of competitive set
- Ability to handle special projects in addition to daily tasks
- Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks
Education And/or Experience
Prior marketing and social media marketing experience, college degree preferred.
