Likewize is searching for a PR & Communications Manager to join our Marketing team at our global Headquarters in Southlake, TX.

In this role, you will be responsible for shaping and telling our brand story and will be essential to growing our brand awareness and bolstering our brand reputation across the globe. Your day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Own and execute the PR strategy – ensuring our message is simple, on-brand and aligned with Likewize goals and KPIs.
  • Manage media relations - building and maintaining media lists, conduct media outreach, monitor and keep coverage reports up to date.
  • Write Likewize pitches and press releases for product launches and brand opportunities globally.
  • Create compelling messaging and story angles, with the goal of inserting Likewize into the current news cycle and social conversations.
  • Identify opportunities for paid media placement and sponsorships.
  • Partner with Brand Marketing to execute and own event strategy.
  • Monitor media trends and topic coverage and help identify opportunities for original research, thought leadership content, or commentary.
  • Report on media coverage and share of voice.
  • Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness.
  • Manage media inquiries and interview requests.
  • Vet awards and oversee submissions process.
  • Monitor Likewize brand reputation online and develop strategies to constantly improve that reputation.
  • Maintain a social media calendar and regularly publish content to Stamps.com channels.
  • Find opportunities to engage with social followers and support the online reputation of the brand.
  • Monitor, analyze, and communicate PR and social media results on a regular basis.

If you are who we are looking for, you will have the following education, skills and/or experience.

  • 5+ years of work experience at a PR, digital, or advertising agency. (or experience in-house at a prominent brand, media outlet, or fast-growing startup)
  • Strong storytelling skills and the ability to research, understand, and have empathy for customers.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, visual), both for internal audiences and customer-facing messaging.
  • Excellent prioritization skills and the ability to stay focused – and keep stakeholders across the organization focused – on the most important work each week.
  • High-energy self-starter with agility to adapt to frequent change and a half-glass-full approach to life.
  • Professional, but personable demeanor with demonstrated ability to interact with and lead diverse teams.
  • Obsessed with keeping up to-date with the latest social trends and pop culture.
  • Experience working in social or creator space (or are a creator yourself!) a definite plus.
  • Hungry learner who continuously strives for growth and self-improvement.
  • Muck Rack (or similar pitching/reporting software) experience preferred.
