Job Description

How You Will Make An Impact

thredUP is looking for a Growth Marketing Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to make an impact on some of our fastest growing acquisition channels that are a material element of thredUP’s growth program. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the team in scaling thredUP’s Influencer, Affiliate and Direct Mail programs and contribute to their overall success and growth.

Our ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong organizational and communications skills. You’ll be results-oriented and focused on impact within the marketing organization and the overall business. You should be familiar with growth marketing KPIs and business metrics.

This role is part of the Growth Marketing team and will report to the Sr. Manager of Growth Marketing.

In This Role You’ll Get To:

  • Source and evaluate new talent across all social media platforms that reach thredUP’s target audience.
  • Set up all campaign elements to ensure a successful launch including tracking links and creative briefs.
  • Develop custom landing pages and gather insights to inform optimizations.
  • Facilitate account setup, product ordering and tracking for talent as well as communicating deadlines and following up on timelines for campaign launches.
  • Draw insights from performance metrics to inform creative iterations.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and bring new ideas to the table that align with business goals.
  • Make recommendations and find creative solutions for optimization and program expansion across Direct Mail, Influencers and Affiliates
  • Project manage new Direct Mail campaign launches and organize stakeholders and deadlines.
  • Create opportunities for affiliate partners and gather insights to inform evolution of the program including leading communication for affiliates and network partners.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1-2 years of professional experience as part of a marketing team.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive, self starter, ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.
  • Consistently speaks up in meetings or when something isn’t working and surfaces solutions to help improve processes or performance
  • Seeks out opportunities to learn new things and tackle challenges, surfacing learnings and insights to the growth marketing team and to cross functional partners
  • Influences outcomes and focuses on output and impact

At thredUP, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays between $80,000 and $100,000, and your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Many thredUP employees also have the opportunity to own shares of thredUP stock. thredUP employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, as well as a discount when purchasing thredUP stock if voluntarily participating in thredUP’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
