Job Posting for VP of Partnerships

About Nivati

Nivati is a comprehensive mental health and wellness platform that provides a personalized and holistic solution for employees. With Nivati, employees can access resources, classes, tools, and a network of professional providers - anytime, anywhere. By helping employees thrive across six dimensions of wellness - mind, body, purpose, social, finance, and career - Nivati helps companies boost employee engagement, retention, and overall performance.

Nivati Culture

We live the type of culture we create in other organizations through wellness and fulfillment:

  • We Own It: We practice extreme ownership. Prioritize, execute, solve it.
  • GSD: We have a bias for action. Make decisions and take calculated risks.
  • Be the Dog Food: We practice what we preach. We are mentally fit and resilient.
  • A David in Goliath's World: We have an indomitable spirit. We are nimble.
  • Rookies 4 Life: We are perpetual learners. Growth > comfort. We are learners, not knowers.

The Role: VP of Partnerships

We are looking for an experienced partnerships executive who has a track record of building and scaling successful referral partner programs. The purpose of this role will be to continually increase the flow of high-quality leads to Nivati through win-win relationships. This program is new, so this executive will need the ability to be an enthusiastic self-producer, effective strategist, process creator, and influential leader in order to effectively scale the partnerships channel over time. This role sits at the intersection of marketing and sales - marketing in the sense of deep partner audience awareness and lead creation, and sales in the sense of disciplined pipeline creation/management and a winning pitch. This person will report to the CEO and will interface with every department in the company - especially Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.

What You'll Be Doing

You will be producing highly qualified leads for the sales team by doing the following:

    • Partner Vertical Discovery: Maintaining and documenting a deep and current understanding of successful partner verticals, including (and especially) insurance/benefits brokers - including their KPIs, pain points, seasonal idiosyncrasies, and roles that touch our process and product.
    • Becoming a Platform Expert: Learning the Nivati platform to a depth that you can explain it with ease and power and identify partnership opportunities naturally.
    • Creating New Partnerships: Prospecting and generating introductions to new partners within our focused partner verticals.
    • PRM and Partner Rev Ops: Developing a scalable partner relationship management (PRM) system along with appropriate partner revenue operations at a cost congruent with our stage.
    • Co-Branding Relationships: Creating co-branding opportunities with partners in coordination with Marketing and Sales that will deepen partner goodwill and drive lead flow.
    • Partner Success: Producing ongoing leads by implementing and improving partner success methodologies, such as value-creating follow-up strategies and ways of maintaining relationships with individual referring agents. You will carefully manage the partner load so that all partnerships get adequate attention to succeed.
    • Partner Expansion: Working to expand our presence within existing partnerships in ways that drive value to our partners and build good will towards referrals.
    • Caring about Mental Wellness: You'll need to truly care about what we do to succeed.
  • Qualifications
    • Experience building a successful referral partner program (typically 5+ years of dedicated partnerships leadership); experience building a "ground-up" partner program (from individuals to executives) a plus.
    • Experience in SaaS sales; experience in marketing a plus.
    • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in the benefits broker / benefits administration sector.
    • A natural networker who creates needed connections.
    • An innovator and problem solver who is not afraid to suggest and tackle new ideas.
    • One who practices meticulous followthrough with internal and external commitments and deadlines.
    • A culture builder who is able to motivate and build others.
    • A professional presence and communication ability in-person and virtually, including meetings, video calls, over the phone, and email.
    • Proficient in CRM platforms, LinkedIn and Sales Navigator, and Google Workspace.
    • An overall effective executive, able to plan and execute toward continual revenue growth, communicate effectively, and be an overall pleasure to work with.
If you don't meet the qualifications but think you're right for the role, still apply and tell us why!
