Slate Digital is seeking a highly skilled, results-driven Digital Marketing Customer Acquisition Manager to join our growing team. As Acquisition Manager, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing digital advertising campaigns to drive customer acquisition for a subscription-based Audio FX plugin service. Your role will involve conducting market research, staying up-to-date with the latest technology and trends and optimizing campaigns for business growth. Additionally, you will oversee organic social media content management and to ensure consistent brand presence and engagement with our target audience. Your collaboration with the Marketing Retention Manager, Influencer Manager and content team will be essential to align acquisition, retention and influencer marketing strategies.
This key role reports to the Marketing Director and is based in our Los Angeles office with the potential for a hybrid working schedule.
Roles
Responsibilities:
- Digital Advertising Campaign Planning, Implementation, and Management:
- Develop and execute digital advertising campaigns across platforms (Google Search, Instagram/Facebook and TikTok) to acquire new customers for Slate Digital products.
- Work with the content team to develop campaign materials, including video, ad copy, images and landing pages, to maximize reach and conversions.
- Monitor campaign performance, optimize ads based on key metrics (e.g., click-through rates, conversion rates), and adjust bidding strategies to achieve campaign KPIs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest digital advertising tools, trends and best practices.
- Campaign Analysis and Optimization:
- Identify areas for campaign optimization and A/B test different ad variations, targeting options, and landing page designs to improve conversion rates.
- Utilize data analytics to measure campaign attribution and assess the impact of different marketing channels on customer acquisition.
- Collaborate with the marketing retention specialist to share campaign insights and data for a holistic view of customer acquisition and retention efforts.
- Prepare weekly reports for review by the Marketing Director and senior staff.
- Organic Social Media Content Management:
- Oversee organic social media channels (e.g., Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and Facebook) to drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
- Work with the content team to develop a strategy that aligns with the brand's voice and resonates with the target audience.
- Create and schedule social media posts, monitor engagement, and work with customer support to manage responses to comments and messages promptly.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Retention Manager and Influencer Manager to ensure consistency in messaging, branding, and customer journey across organic social media and retention efforts.
- Interaction and Planning with the Marketing Retention Manager:
- Regularly communicate and collaborate with the Marketing Retention Manager to align organic/paid acquisition and retention strategies and share insights.
- Work with Influencer Marketing colleagues to align strategies and share insights.
- Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns that combine acquisition and retention efforts to maximize customer lifetime value and loyalty.
Your profile
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of proven experience as a digital marketer, specifically in planning and executing successful digital advertising campaigns
- In-depth knowledge of digital advertising platforms (Google Search, YouTube, Instagram/Facebook and TikTok) and their targeting capabilities.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, analyze campaign performance, and optimize for results.
- Experience managing organic social media channels and developing engaging content.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A creative thinker with a problem-solving mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with the SaaS industry and audio-related products is a plus.

- Musician or content creator with home recording experience
- Familiar with audio recording technology
- Worked for a music recording/content creation software company in a similar role
