About The Role
We’re looking for a Director, Creative + Innovation, to join our team of creative content experts striving to make advertising more valuable to the world. In the role, you will lead cross-channel creative and innovation experience for high profile client initiatives (i.e. branded content, integrations, social, collaborations, experiential, influencer, sponsorships) for our Fortune 100 retail client by architecting and producing creative activations across channels. Experience should include a broad content production background that includes video, social, experiential, cross-channel consumer engagement initiatives, in addition to strong strategic thinking skills, passion for creativity, and knowledge of emerging media platforms and audience behaviors.
The Creative + Innovation team plays a vital role within the agency, driving creative media initiatives from ideation through execution in addition to sourcing opportunities in emerging technology that prepare clients for the future of media. Some of the things we’d like you to do:
- Serve as direct point of contact for execution of activations, including liaising directly with clients and creative agencies, leading communication and collaboration between internal and external partners, creative oversight on program elements, and on-set coverage for content creation.
- Manage scope, budget, timelines, assets, approvals, post-mortems, etc.
- Meet regularly with publisher brand studios, content creators, TV networks, and influencer marketplaces. cultivating strategic relationships and sourcing opportunities that proactively deliver on client business objectives.
- Translate and manage client marketing objectives and mandates throughout content development process.
- Stay connected to relevant marketplace trends, authoring client requested and proactive points-of-views.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Planning, Activation, Strategy and Analytics, to ensure holistic campaign planning.
- Oversee junior team members day-to-day responsibilities, while providing strategic oversight and coaching.
- Build practice, assisting to expand team and capabilities.
