Got the eye? Got the chops? Got the gumption?
i3 is looking for a Video Content Creator to help craft production-level content, work with and create motion graphics, edit video with sound and voiceovers, and more for its Virtual Training, Simulation, and Gaming business unit.
As a Video Content Creator, you will be responsible for a variety of video efforts, including, but not limited to
- Stitching together videos using pre-rendered 3D cinematics,
- Capturing video footage inside our software,
- Creating motion graphics,
- Promotional videos pumping up our products,
- Interview-style videos,
- Explainer videos leveraging voice overs, captured footage, etc.,
All to be used in support of our digital training products that are based in the Unity game engine. You will work with highly skilled and motivated delivery teams made of Software Engineers, 3D artists, ISDs, Product Owners, and Tech Leads to create these videos. These folks work together to create multi-platform, customer facing software — and we all have a blast doing it. You’ll help in an area, as a Video Content Creator, that has been well-needed. It’s all energizing. We have a good time together. And this is good work to do.
i3’s ideal candidate is responsible for supporting the above efforts with class and style, validating their work with the Creative Director and other creatives within Creative Operations regularly to accomplish it all. They are responsible for making and managing storyboards, voice over scripts and timelines for their work, recording video inside of Unity and managing stakeholder expectations for each video project that comes at them.
Our ideal candidate workshops their efforts with the Creative Director and Creative Operations team weekly, as well, to ensure their work is cohesive and meeting branding guidelines as needed. They’re cool to hang with critique and can pick up brand standards and iterate on them easily for each product on the floor.
Our ideal candidate also has a portfolio that demonstrates the core competencies of a videographer. In fact, it is required that you submit an online portfolio and/or website of your work with your application.
While the best portfolios typically display a proficiency in videography, motion graphics, editing, etc., other efforts in audio engineering, short-form videos, training videos, corporate videos, marketing projects with whiz-bang video efforts, and collaborations with other folks all won’t hurt.

- Regularly workshop efforts with the Creative Director and the Creative Operations team to maintain a cohesive branding and other style guidelines.
