OVERVIEW

As the International Retail Marketing Manager, you will support alo’s international expansion and help our partners launch and grow our alo brand presence, globally. This person will work under our Global Brand Marketing team; including social media, Community/Events, PR/Influencer, Retail Marketing, Creative as well as our Digital team driving all ecommerce needs. We’re looking for a team player who is eager to learn, build relationships and establish clear lines of communication. A marketing background and effective communication skills are the key to the success of this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Key point of contact between Global Marketing & Global Digital team with international partners.
  • Partner with Global Brand Marketing team to ensure consistency of alo brand directives and marketing priorities across all international markets.
  • Onboard new partnerships on all marketing/digital guidelines, playbooks, standards and ways of working.
  • Guide, review, and approve all marketing activations surrounding market entry launches, store opening events, wellness launches, and any store activations.
  • Communicate any changes within Global Influencer roster and proper ways of engagement with local talent.
  • Review and approve local influencer roster and local partnerships to ensure alignment with global guidelines.
  • Track international partners’ marketing budgets to ensure contractual marketing obligations are met.
  • Monitor partners activation of social accounts and provide ongoing guidance to ensure content is aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Communicate key seasonal marketing content calendars, seasonal creatives, updates/changes to partners.
  • Review each market’s seasonal marketing plans, allocated spend, planned retail activations to better establish consistencies with Global plans and directives.
  • Share market recaps on all international marketing activations executed by franchise/JV to relevant Global partners.
  • Establish and propose strategic seasonal marketing spend/budget per market based off Global guidance and learnings.
  • Partner with Global Digital team to liaison the launch of local ecommerce sites.
  • Consolidate all markets key promotional moments and review promotional strategy.
  • Monitor ecommerce activation to ensure guidelines on promotional cadence, site look and feel are on brand.
  • Provide any updates on shifts/learnings of Global digital/paid spend and targets.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5-6 years of brand marketing experience, working with international markets a plus
  • Passion for creating best-in-class partnerships through strong communication skills
  • Effective communication skills, including confidence in leading cross-functional meetings to drive results
  • The creativity to create and drive new ways of working and process building
  • Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset and spirit
  • Ability to work well with others to be able to prioritize and balance Global and local markets
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Self-motivated and highly organized in order to manage multiple projects within team and with cross-functional partners
  • Ability to recognize and understand market differences
  • Strong problem-solving skills and comfort in navigating ambiguous situations
  • Sense of urgency with the ability to make decisions without complete information

The base salary range for this position is $110,000- $130,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
