Product Marketing Manager, Instagram Business Opportunities
Instagram Business Opportunities serves as a growth engine for new advertiser demand on IG and represents a wide portfolio of products meant to drive segment-specific growth. Products in this portfolio include Instagram's foremost SMB-focused ads product (Boost), Business Messaging, Lead Gen, Retail, Creator Ads and new formats like Reminder Ads and Promo Ads. This individual will focus on one of the fastest-growing products (Creator Ads) with the potential to also lead strategic projects within other parts of Business Opportunities.The ideal candidate will be skilled in understanding the needs of Advertisers across the spectrums of size and segment as well as Creators and influencing product roadmaps accordingly. You are analytical, and can effectively work with colleagues across the company to drive results. You will be experienced in building strategic plans from the ground up and managing go-to-market plans from end-to-end. You’ll leverage a strong multidisciplinary background, including strategy and analytical skills, and have some experience in strategic planning, go-to-market planning and execution, product management, product marketing, and/or digital advertising. We are looking for a problem solver that thrives while confronting the ambiguous and making the complex feel simple. You should be flexible and comfortable working in a cross-functional capacity within a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills are a must. Product Marketing Manager, Instagram Business Opportunities Responsibilities:
- Drive product strategy in partnership with product management, engineering, design, user research, and data science
- Represent the market and influence the product roadmap through market research, industry assessments, quantitative analysis, segmentation, and qualitative feedback from Creators and Businesses
- Lead and activate go-to-market plans, including coordinating and communicating the rollout of new products both internally and externally
- Collaborate closely with partner teams to build great product experiences that span org lines and address customer needs holistically
- Catch unanticipated issues that arise along the way and see them through to resolution
Minimum Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in business strategy, management consulting, investment banking, business and operations, product management, product marketing, product strategy or other analytical roles
- Experience influencing strategic decisions through structured frameworks, data-driven analysis, and clear recommendations
- Communication experience including presenting to audiences of varying size and seniority
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally (including with Product and Engineering teams) and managing multiple stakeholders across functions and seniority
- Experience working with advertisers and/or content creators and developing strategies based on those insights as well as quantitative inputs
- Experience developing marketing strategies using both quantitative and qualitative insights
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or other graduate degree in relevant field
- Experience working in media, media measurement, or digital advertising
- Understanding of the marketing funnel and knowledge of how to optimize it at each stage
