Senior Director, Content Production
Come Grow With Us! We are looking for a Senior Director, Digital & Social Content Production to join the team. This person will create and implement a digital & social production strategy that aligns content creation to the larger business objectives & goals.
What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with data analyst to analyze and understand performance of video content, identifying and implementing recommendations for improvement and growth.
- Collaborate with relevant cross-functional teams to develop sponsored content opportunities and treatments in support of overall brand deals.
- Develop and coordinate production process, ensuring team accurately handles concept development - including managing budget, timeline, restrictions, talent/influencer selection and various inputs (legal, talent, PR, etc.).
- Execute against a content calendar that incorporates overall digital and social media strategy.
- Stay up to date with the latest social media standard methodologies, trends and technologies, including developments in designs, applications, platforms, strategy and innovation.
- Bring a unique, creative vision, strong video editorial voice, and deep passion for identifying new sources of content/talent as well as new formats for storytelling.
- Strong collaborator and able to lead, handle and train the team as needed.
- Operate in an urgent, timely and agile manner.
What to bring:
- 10+ years of crafting/producing/editing social content at a media publisher.
- Undergraduate degree in Media/Film/TV, related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- A successful history in the digital and social media landscape crafting content for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat and other platforms, including branded and sponsored content.
- Sports background is preferred.
- Have a deep understanding of the media landscape, consumer behavior, media consumption, and how to connect strategic thought leadership with activation across both digital and traditional channels.
- Familiar with field production, storyboarding, shot lists, interview questions, physical production, ideating, crafting a narrative, capturing the moments, and producing compelling content.
- Fluency in managing cross-functional collaborators to deliver unified work.
- A data-driven mentality, with a hunger to continuously refine strategy, performance, and opportunity through insights.
- An eye for emerging industry trends and topics.
- Willingness to travel.
