Overview & Responsibilties:

As the Vice President of Global Program Marketing, you will spearhead the planning and execution of strategic marketing campaigns that drive viewership and subscriptions across our Kids & Family programs, sports initiatives, and franchises.

Your role will be instrumental in strengthening the presence of and consumer engagement with our properties across various platforms, including Paramount+ and Nickelodeon linear channels. Moreover, you will lead the brand strategy for key franchises and serve as a crucial intermediary between Nickelodeon, internal, and external partners.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead long-term brand strategy and near-term marketing execution for key properties and franchises
  • Champion campaign lifecycle from end-to-end, working collaboratively across functional peers and encompassing marketing strategy, positioning, creative briefing, media planning, campaign execution, and performance analysis.
  • Serve as a key partner and brand advocate across LOBs including studio, sales, consumer products, partnerships, press, linear, and streaming.
  • Lead development of marketing campaigns for sports-related properties, conveying Nickelodeon's distinctive voice and perspective.
  • Serve as senior sports marketing lead with internal and external sports partners, collaborating with production, consumer products, sales, NFL, CBS Sports, and other related entities.
  • Establish a unified vision and strategic approach, rallying marketing teams, agency partners, and the organization-at-large to create breakthrough marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with media strategy, creative, and social teams to translate creative concepts into impactful campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
  • Actively seek out, identify, and excel at developing innovative marketing efforts, including media partnerships, digital/social initiatives, influencer outreach, and events/stunts.
  • Craft coordinated social/earned media strategies in conjunction with Nickelodeon and Paramount+ Social and PR teams.
  • Use data insights and collaborate with Business Intelligence and Media Planning to monitor and optimize performance against Key Performance Indicators throughout the campaign lifecycle.
  • Partner with Business Intelligence and Media to track/manage performance against campaign KPIs; pro-actively reviewing data and providing clear direction to optimize tactics throughout the life of a campaign
  • Actively foster the growth and development of team members and marketing collaborators.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, MBA preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in movie and/or TV marketing, preferably with prior direct responsibility for launching Kids & Family and/or animated programming.
  • Prior experience working with NFL preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in driving awareness, interest, viewership and/or SVOD revenue for top tier entertainment properties.
  • Prior experience in/with D2C or streaming business preferred.
  • Proficiency in interpreting analytics and utilizing research to inform recommendations.
  • Ability to effectively lead a team, both of direct reports and shared resources, that consistently delivers against business needs and maintains a fun and fulfilling experience for everyone involved.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment with competing priorities and numerous collaborators.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Qualifications:

  • A genuine passion for kids & family entertainment, as well as sports and fan culture.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media, digital ecosystems, influencer programs, and brand building.
  • Extensive experience with essential marketing software, including Microsoft and Google ecosystems (i.e., PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Google Suite, Tableau, Slack, etc.).
  • Excellent sense of humor.

Additional Information

Hiring Salary Range: $195,000.00 - 225,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
