Role Objectives
As the Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our brand and business goals. You will have the opportunity to shape our online presence, engage with our audience, and drive brand awareness. We are looking for a results-driven individual with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of social media platforms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
- Consumer product experience preferred but not required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven experience in social media management and digital marketing.
- Strong portfolio showcasing successful social media campaigns.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge of social media trends and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Owned Channels Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement a social media strategy across select brands and owned channels that aligns with the company's marketing objectives, brand identity, and target audience.Manage content calendar and work collaboratively with brand stakeholders as needed.
- Content Creation: Work with internal Creative Services team to create engaging and relevant content for various social media platforms, including text, images, videos, and graphics.
- Community Management: Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions on social media channels to foster engagement and build relationships with our audience.
- Campaign Management:
- Analytics and Reporting: Define, track and analyze social media metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven improvements. Report on trending topics and community conversations. Act upon opportunistic trends to increase visibility to our brands and campaigns.
- Audience Research: Stay updated on industry trends and conduct audience research to identify opportunities for growth and engagement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including global and US Brand teams, to ensure branded / owned social media initiatives are integrated into the overall marketing strategy.
- Brand Voice: Maintain and develop the brand voice and tone across all social media channels.Work closely with Global Comms Manager for any Moose related messaging

Technical Skills
- Social Media Platforms: Proficiency in managing and optimizing profiles on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest and others as relevant to the business.
- Content Creation: Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite), video editing software, and knowledge of copyright and image licensing.
- Analytics Tools: Proficiency in using social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights) to track and report on performance.
- SEO Knowledge: Understanding of basic SEO principles to optimize social media content for search engines.
Work Hours
8:30am – 5:30pm, Monday to Thursday
8:30am – 3:00pm, Friday
30-minute unpaid lunch break each day.
Plus, reasonable additional hours due to multiple time-zones.
Moose also provides flexible working options.
Salary Band
USD $91,300 - $115,000

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone and other office productivity machinery, may need to reach, stoop, kneel to access items
- Must be able to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time
