The context: It is an imperative that data-driven insights will be a key cornerstone to building a formidable Beauty business. Incredible Beauty Marketing is driving desire across consumer touchpoints and we need to better understand this space to drive growth across our Hair and Skincare brands. Our Rapid ROI journey is just beginning and we need to continue to drive insights for optimization and deliver macro learnings. The goal is to optimize every dollar spent, but all of this insight must come with contextual appreciation for the consumer, the Beauty landscape, competitive context, and market dynamics.

Purpose of the role: The leader in this role will be a strategic and entrepreneurial Insights Manager who will play a significant role in driving the Beauty Marketing learning agenda.

Loves the thrill of leveraging insights to drive better spend decisions by the business, directing a measurement strategy and approach that also raises the floor on macro learnings. Can seamlessly connect the dots on brands, campaigns and platforms. Will bring thought leadership on an ecom learning plan to drive growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Drive B&W Business Growth through National and Retailer ROI improvement, acceleration of Influencer Marketing, and embedding of Trends
  • Manage innovation in ROI measurement, leading the research supplier relationship and guiding the Digital Hub to continuous optimization
  • Lead Macro learnings agenda to bring insight and fresh thinking on how to optimize spend across brands, channels, short term and long term ROI’s, etc.
  • Drive the B&W Measurement Framework, including insights from ROIs, leading indicator reporting, brand lift studies
  • Answer strategic business questions with cutting edge insights derived from measurement and social analytics data
  • Bring the Voice of the Consumer, knowledge of beauty industry, and intel from a network of CMI teammates into data centric conversations
  • Lead a team of two, developing their skills and supporting their work plans and development goals across Media Measurement and Social & Business Analytics

What You’ll Need To Succeed

  • Undergraduate degree required. Advanced degree in Marketing, Marketing Research, Analytics, Media/Media Measurement welcomed
  • Demonstrated high performance, 7+ years of relevant experience (media measurement, ROI’s, developing measurement frameworks, audience creation, etc.)
  • Fluent in numbers – comfortable wading through the data and still have enough brain power left over to create a clear story
  • Experience working with input data across key agencies to feed into ROI Modeling (quality assurance, understanding which metrics matter, ability to interrogate inputs)
  • Experience analyzing and making sense of ROI output to find patterns, themes that translate into insights and actionable recommendations
  • Familiarity with advanced analytics, i.e. Marketing Mix
  • Experience managing stakeholders across Performance Marketing, Media, Digital Hub
  • Good Project Management skills in prioritizing multiple tasks
  • Demonstrate ability to think through problems and provide clear logic
  • Strong communicator who can provide clear presentation of information and elevate Insights in this space as a true partner and thought leader

Pay: The pay range for this position is $110,700 to $166,000. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
