Job Description

**Ideally will work EST hours**

We are looking for an analyst to develop reporting, analytics, and insights for multiple brands of a key agency client across social media (mostly organic).

This position will report to our Director of Earned and Social Analytics.

Your contribution will enable a better understanding of our client’s business on social, and power our social strategy, messaging, content creation, and optimization. You will help drive our client’s business goals by developing insights and recommendations based on social performance.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Participate in the development of social reporting dashboards.

Proficient in Excel.

Developing insights and recommendations on a regular basis.

Manage data from social network platforms and 3rd party platforms.

Create reporting templates, and advance existing templates.

Develop ad hoc, quarterly, mid-year and end of year reports.

Act as a liaison with strategists to interpret learnings and action items stemming from performance data.

Recommend optimizations and learning plans.

Comfortable working with large datasets, utilizing tools like SQL and/or Python.

Assist in the development of social KPIs and benchmarks.

Develop new client-specific metrics (e.g., alternative to NPS).

Recommend and create social tests (e.g., A/B tests).

Oversee and run media measurement tracking studies for PR and Influencer campaigns, delivering high quality, insightful reports

Bring outstanding analytical storytelling and thinking to engagements with both agency clients and internal teams

Collaborate with client's internal analytics team, interface with the rest of Earned and Social Analytics team, and the overall Dentsu Creative analytics organization.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years prior experience in social analytics. Agency experience preferred.
  • Experience using measurement to drive business decisions
  • Bachelor’s Degree in communications, marketing, business, journalism, arts, and sciences (history, anthropology/sociology, psychology), business (economics, marketing), computer (sciences) or quantitative field (math, statistics).
  • Experience managing social analytics platforms and tools.
  • Deep understanding of social media analytics frameworks and measurement approaches
  • Rich understanding of data storytelling
  • Role requires client-facing skills and the ability to write clear and concise presentations for client summarizing data insights, outcomes, and implications in straight-forward and enlightening way for clients

Additional Information

The anticipated rate range for this position is $65- $70/hr. Actual rate will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
