Senior Panel Acquisition (Panel Growth) Manager

As Senior Digital Acquisition (Panel Growth) Manager, you will be all responsible for member acquisition (both web and mobile), ensuring that the US panel is large and representative enough to meet commercial needs. You will work collaboratively to conceive, manage, analyse, and optimise campaigns and funnel improvements that drive high-quality panel growth. You will lead a team to continuously innovate the way that YouGov acquire new members.

This is a high-impact role, essential to the growth of YouGov’s most valuable strategic asset and will provide an integral role in ensuring panel capability for US commercial heads. The role will report to the Director of Panel Growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing digital acquisition activity for our panel in the US and Canada, including a multi-million dollar annual performance marketing budget. You will take additional responsibility for the South American markets too.
  • Working alongside the Panel Growth Director to devise and deliver acquisition plans, targeting audiences required for representative and commercial growth. You will need to be able to create and optimise media plans to target many different target audiences.
  • Driving member acquisition through a diverse range of digital channels. You will be constantly optimising for maximum impact. Channels include and not limited to app, affiliates, paid search, paid social, co-registration, and influencer.
  • Working with internal teams to lead multivariate & CRO plans to deliver the best ROI on advertising spend. You will continuously drive optimisation of advertising and landing page content.
  • Hiring and managing a team high-performing panel acquisition team based in one of YouGov’s CENX locations (most likely Mexico City).
  • Identifying new and managing existing relationships with partners, affiliates and agencies.


Qualifications

  • Solid experience and understanding of the market research and consumer panel world.
  • 5+ years management experience in performance marketing roles, including mobile and web. Expertise in digital marketing strategy, channels, tools, techniques, and optimization is crucial.
  • An innovate and creative mind-set with the ability to challenge the norm to generate new ideas and think strategically.
  • Ambitious mind-set with bags of passion and enthusiasm for performance & consumer marketing, market research and the work we do.
  • Excellent relationship building and management skills.
  • Effective organisation skills and can-do attitude (need to be hands on ‘doer’).
  • A numerical, analytical & technical mind who loves data.
