The Ideal Candidate

The Social Media Influencer Coordinator is a pivotal member of the Marketing Team for the Journeys Group and will report directly to the Social Media Manager. This person will assist in identifying, vetting, and organizing a roster of influencers, content creators and/or models – and the content they create – for Journeys, Journeys Canada, and Journeys Kidz. This person will also collect, organize, track and analyze data related to social media influencer campaigns for internal campaigns, as well as brand partnership co-op campaigns. Individual should be passionate about social media, content, statistics and analytics as well as have a strong interest in Journeys, TikTok, IG, footwear, teen culture, emerging technologies and online communication channels.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Create and manage Influencer marketing initiatives (social media, in-store TV programming, digital blog/storytelling, etc.) to achieve all relative Journeys Group business objectives.
  • Leverage customer segments and consumer data to identify and present a pool of influencer and creator candidates who are aligned with the Journeys brand and meet the overall seasonal brand objectives.
  • Collaborate with the retail marketing team and Social Media Manager to review and vet talent and talent content provided by Journeys brand partners.
  • Facilitate the deal point communications and contract negotiations between in-house legal counsel, the agency, influencer, or talent to achieve executed contracts on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain ongoing working relationships with current Influencer roster(s).
  • Monitor incoming deliverables and posts for accuracy and quality assurance.
  • Organize and tag incoming content from influencers/models/content creators.
  • Assist Social Media Content Creator with the collection, tagging and organization of User Generated Content.
  • Work with Social Media Manager on artist seedings and influencer appearances at events and activations.
  • Create and monitor custom trackable links for contracted influencers.
  • Track influencer KPIs and develop reports to present to key stakeholders
  • Responsible for staying up-to-date on emerging social media tools and industry trends.
  • Develop, maintain and execute weekly/monthly content calendars, and collaborate with the necessary teams/individuals to fulfill all content objectives.
  • Managing Platforms such as Motom (or other influencer shopping platforms) that support creators and influencers to drive product conversion.
  • Manage the Social Media Ambassador Program, including working with necessary team(s) for approval and maintenance of employee participants, product seeding, goal setting and recaps.

Experience And Skills You'll Need To Have

  • Preferred 4-year degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications or related field
  • Minimum 2 years experience in related field
  • Excellent written & oral communication skills
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Proven management experience
  • Creative & detail-oriented
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Must be avid user or knowledgeable in Facebook, Threads, TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, SnapChat, Pinterest,WordPress and/or other relevant social media applications
  • Intermediate knowledge of Photoshop is a plus
  • Knowledge and/or experience with Journeys content
  • Some travel may be required
