Job Summary
The Garnier Brand Engagement Team is looking for a creative, strategic and consumer centric influencer marketer to drive best-in-class paid social media and influencer content for the Garnier master brand. This includes CSR programs to leverage the brand’s Greener Beauty equity, and product categories including skincare, hair care & hair color.
Key Job Responsibilities
This position will report directly into the Director of Social & Paid influencer on the Garnier US Brand Engagement team. This person will play a crucial role in supporting Garnier’s paid influencer strategy. This role involves overseeing the execution of influencer partnerships for paid media programs, managing day-to-day operations, reporting on results, and providing valuable insights for future collaborations.
- Oversee influencer selection process
- Manage assets for paid media; delivery deadlines, launch workbooks, content approvals and campaign reporting
- Day-to-day communication with agencies + internal teams to manage process
- Oversee the Influencer contract generation and revisions with Legal
- Collaborate with Consumer Activation Team on all paid social media campaigns and activations to ensure alignment for maximum reach
- Counsel global & marketing teams on the brand’s paid influencer strategy, insights and best practices to help them upskill and best collaborate with the brand comms team on global initiatives and new U.S. product launches and campaigns
- Analyze KPI’s from prior programs and support decisions with ROI-based analysis
- Efficiently Manage the Influencer Budget/Tracker/PO Process
- Support Director of Social & Paid influencer on the Garnier US Brand Engagement team on larger total brand & product-related activations
- Ideate around impactful influencer programming to support strategic launches and pillar priorities
- Work closely with Social & PR teams for content needs
- Maintain competitive and efficient talent rates versus industry
- Share new relevant talent with Brand Engagement Team on a monthly basis
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3-5 years experience in influencer marketing, brand engagement, paid media, or related roles.
- Beauty, CPG, or Fashion experience is preferred
- Strong understanding of influencer landscape, social media platforms, and content strategies.
- Proficiency in influencer management and analytics tools (i.e. Traackr)
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze KPI’s and provide insights
- In-depth knowledge and experience with all major social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram/Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, SnapChat and emerging platforms
- Strong project management skills and high level of organization, attention to detail and positive attitude.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Ability to take direction and understand Garnier’s unique mission and social identity, while layering your own creativity and fresh perspective.
- Experience managing agencies and vendors
- Ability to manage budgets and work collaboratively within cross-functional teams
- Experience working with brand spokespeople, talent, influencers and experts like hair colorists, hair stylists and aestheticians (including contracts and managing their agents, publicists, etc)
- Collaborative spirit and ability to work cross-functionally with many different teams on projects
- Creative thinking and ability to ideate innovative influencer programming.
- Strong communication skills (written and oral)
- Strong appreciation for our business / sensitivity to métier
- Must be professional, energetic and have a positive attitude
