Overview
The Position
We are seeking a Director to join our Integrated Marketing team. The Director of Influencer Marketing helps clients develop successful creator-led programs through strategic planning of program design, data-led recommendations around strategic partnerships, delivery and measurement.
The ideal candidate is an evangelist for the importance of influencer marketing as part of the marketing mix and has a clear POV on ways to innovate and lead in the space. They provide clients with a strategic view of challenges and opportunities beyond conventional silos; oversee campaign delivery and ensure accountability of results.
Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
- Lead development of go-to-market plans for influencer programs
- Maintain regular client contact, both verbal and written to develop trusted client relationships
- Demonstrate knowledge of successful social media programs and the best way to maximize influencer programming and content across channels
- Stay abreast of current influencer marketing landscape and integrated marketing trends, sharing learnings to broader agency team regularly
- Oversee and manage influencer/creator programs from planning through execution including research, identification, outreach, negotiation, contracting, and managing delivery of creative content
- Use data to build and measure successful campaigns
- Assist and conduct client and team workshops and training on influencer marketing and social media
- Contribute to budget planning, scopes of work, and client costing process
- Serve as a mentor or manager to junior staff
- Contribute to new business and campaign proposals
- Participate in agency thought-leadership on influencer marketing and integrated communications
- Ensure clear and relevant metrics are agreed upon with clients, monitor performance and optimize as needed to ensure success
Qualifications
What You’ll Need
- Directors at Allison typically have a minimum of 8+ years of experience in advertising, marketing or a related field
- Proven experience in influencer marketing or related field
- Demonstrably broad understanding of integrated communications, digital, social and content marketing disciplines across a range of industries
- Must have experience in a client service environment, ideally agency
- Self-motivated, eager to learn and enthusiastic about the work
- Very strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage expectations appropriately and effectively
- Burning intellectual curiosity about marketing and communications across multiple geographies and industry sectors

In order to comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, we believe the target range of base compensation in all locations within the United States for this role is $100k-$150k. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
