Senior Producer, Content

Summary

The Senior Producer, Content will support social media strategy and content creation with an emphasis on driving engagement and developing audience. This role will help BSE Global to formulate their vision and strategy in the cultural content space. The individual will be responsible for identifying, pitching and developing concepts that spotlight Brooklyn culture across verticals.

The Senior Producer will serve as a subject matter expert on social production. The individual will be responsible for crafting outstanding content, educating the organization & our partners on our vision/objectives and closely following social media, cultural trends and influential creators. This role will work with Marketing and Media leadership to leverage content to drive business objectives.

What You Will Do

• Craft strategy and tactics to bring cultural content to life on social platforms
• Develop best practices and guidelines for social production with Content leadership
• Conceptualize concepts that drive engagement, extend reach and scale audiences
• Produce content that is optimized for social distribution and meets platform needs
• Cultivate communities, engage with followers, creators, and influencers through comments, direct messages and adaptable content
• Monitor trends, influencers/creators, and driven brands to advise programming strategy
• Liaise with Celebrity & Talent Marketing team to facilitate creator collaborations
• Cover stories/events with the goal of producing compelling content for target audiences
• Mine BSE brands, events and talent relationships to identify stories with cultural resonance
• Support revenue generation through the development of content franchises/platforms that can achieve partner objectives
• Collaborate internally to ensure priority initiatives are translated into optimized social extensions
  
  

Who You Are

• 5-7 years of experience in social media and content creation
• Strong understanding of the social media landscape inclusive of platform-specific strategies and best practices
• Expertise crafting and publishing content on vertical social media platforms
• Previous experience at digital or social media companies is very beneficial
• Deep knowledge of Brooklyn and New York City culture is strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of sports culture, media and entertainment landscape
• Digital content trends passionate about proven understanding of emerging trends, formats and creators
• Experience working with talent and integrating personalities into content is a major plus
• Proficiency in production applications such as Premiere, After Effects, and CapCut
• Understanding of data sources across platforms and how to demonstrate to advise decision-making
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including clearly presenting concepts
• Capable of working both collaboratively and independently, with strong attention to detail and project management capabilities
• Ability to develop meaningful, trust-based working relationships
  
  

Travel Requirements

May be required to travel on occasions; trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay for one or more nights.

Salary Range

$85,000-$110,000

Work Environment

Works primarily in an office environment but upon request will be encouraged to attend games and other events on evenings, weekends and holidays.
