About the role:
Develops and executes an effective and impactful strategy for social media, content marketing and reputation management. Under direction of Regional Communications lead and local Head of Product Management and Innovation, manages strategies for measured improvement in the company’s social media, content marketing, and reputation management activities. Serves as the local subject matter expert for social media and online reputation management.
What you will do:
Key responsibilities which take no less than 10% of overall job time:
Social Media
- Develops and manages the execution of the local social media strategy to achieve overall business objectives by growing social media communities that are aligned with business objectives. Includes activities such as:
- Creating paid and un-paid social media campaigns
- Collaborating with Creative Services to develop campaigns and related content and creative elements
- Curating relevant content to reach the company’s ideal customers on social media
- Overseeing design of each social media account to ensure brand compliance
- Regular monitoring, tracking and reporting campaign results to key stakeholders
- Allocates budget and resources across social media platforms/initiatives to maximize performance.
- Analyzes the company’s presence on its social media platforms and benchmarks against competitors and best practice guidelines. Conducts periodic in-depth reviews of the social media program. Presents findings to key stakeholders, such as senior leaders and marketing teams.
- Develops, manages, and expands the US influencer-marketing program to promote our brand and products. Plans and executes online events/campaigns to engage influencers and followers. Negotiates pricing and statements of work using standard templates and ensuring compliance with marketing guidelines.
- Serves as our local expert on social media marketing and remains current on the latest social media trends. Collaborates with other teams to provide guidance/support editorial content and content creation to meet SEO objectives.
Content Marketing
- Develops and implements a social media content strategy that supports SEO and overall business objectives.
- Creates an editorial calendar that reflects such things as seasonality, business initiatives, company culture, and current events.
- Collaborates with the B2C team to provide guidance and support on editorial content for AllianzTravelInsurance.com (or similar) in order to meet SEO objectives.
- Assigns, manages, and reviews content from freelancers, agencies, and internal staff and traffics it to for adherence to deadlines compliance requirements.
- Tracks and analyzes key performance metrics to determine effectiveness of content in creating awareness, driving traffic to the web site and converting purchasers.
Reputation Management
- Develops and manages online reputation management program and advocates for the company in social media spaces and customer review sites such as Google, Yelp, TrustPilot, and mobile application stores.
- Manages third-party vendors to solicit reviews in line with their requirements on sites such as TrustPilot, Google, and Consumer Affairs.
- Monitors engagement with customers on social media platforms. Collaborates with Operations as they respond to customer comments on social media to ensure compliance with brand and voice.
- Monitors online ratings and adjusts relevant strategies/processes to drive positive reviews.
Other
- Develops and distributes a monthly social media and reputational management dashboard. Completes additional reporting required by AzP Group Communications.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
- Regular, predictable, reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
What it takes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communication, Marketing or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience managing marketing programs, including strong social media experience. Experience in the insurance industry desirable
- Experience using Hootsuite, Sprout, Talkwalker, or similar social media tracking, listening, and monitoring tools.
- Experience with Microsoft office software: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with current social media platforms, their audiences, and ways each platform can be deployed to support marketing and business goals.
- Strong writing and language skills.
- Analytical skills and experience with data analysis and current web analytics tools.
- Excellent organizational, project management and communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality as situation requires.
