Description

Help create the future of video shopping with Amazon! Amazon Live is looking to hire a Product Marketing Manager responsible for creating automated email marketing and marketing analytic workflows. This person will be based in New York, NY. We are looking for someone detail-oriented and analytical to further develop our email program and marketing analytic tools. This role is critical to helping Amazon Live onboard, educate and engage our brand and influencer audiences on the importance of video and how to work with us. This role is responsible for planning email content messaging strategy, coding, deploying and testing email communications as well as digging into marketing analytics to understand what is working for different audiences and where there is area to optimize. This person will have strong project management skills and will be responsible for creating timelines, calendar management and building out processes that create efficiencies for current and future email programs. We are looking for someone who has a proven track record of driving marketing programs from kickoff through to results and learnings. This role will be responsible for routing key pieces through legal, PR and other key partners for approvals. This role requires the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deliverables across multiple deadlines.

This person will aim to understand their audience needs, demonstrate a significant level of independent thought and a passion to invent and simplify. Key job responsibilities

  • Build email programs and execute campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and feature adoption
  • Dig into existing marketing automation workflows and brainstorm opportunities to optimize across influencer and selling partner audiences
  • Analyze, report on, and optimize against key metrics including CTR, open rates, revenue lift, and engagement
  • Partner with business intelligence and data engineers to create reporting efficiencies for marketing programs
  • Track email best practices, industry trends, and make proactive recommendations
  • Partner within the Amazon Live org to create and test campaigns and templates and ensure on-brand, best-in-class content, tailored to audience needs
  • Leverage email tools like Sonar and Optimo to increase performance
  • Comfort learning and digging into analytics to decipher trends to inform marketing strategies
  • Operate and optimize existing marketing performance dashboards
  • Drive data analysis operation improvements with automation and standardization
  • Work within excel and existing performance dashboards and create operating efficiencies that inform marketing strategies
  • Make data-driven decisions, ensuring email marketing strategies are optimized for performance
  • Lead meetings across different teams and expertise levels
  • Communicate effectively with key stakeholders including leadership and partner teams

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • 5+ years of developing and managing marketing or channel programs experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
  • 4+ years of basic HTML and/or XML and the ability to learn our in-house analysis tools quickly
  • Experience communicating results to leadership
  • Ability to measure effectiveness of marketing initiatives and improve iteratively.
  • High attention to detail including precise and effective communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Tableau, SQL, or basic data-mining
  • Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
  • Experience working cross-functionally across Marketing, Product Management, Business Intelligence, PR, Legal
  • Ability to identify global stakeholder needs, align on priorities and implement solutions that are analytical and automated.
  • Knowledge of shoppable video landscape and a belief in the importance of livestreaming in the future consumer’s shopping journey

The base pay for this position ranges from $96,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market.
