Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Social Media Content Specialist, Mobility Group. This position offers a HYBRID work schedule at our Beachwood, OH Headquarters.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $77249.97 - $113299.96 a year.

What You’ll Do
The Social Media Content Specialist will support Eaton's Mobility Group with the curation and development of social media content for organic, paid, advocacy and senior leader posts. Reporting to the Social and paid media operations manager, this role will be directly responsible for working with the Mobility Group's marketing team, including vehicle, eMobility and power connections, to write and design social media posts aligned with brand standards and social platform best practices. This role will also support the Mobility Group's senior leaders in elevating their position as thought leaders on LinkedIn through the development of individualized social media strategies, and further support each leader by writing, publishing and monitoring posts on their behalf.
In This Role
- Develop vehicle, eMobility and power connections social media content for publication to corporate presences, including LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter. This includes writing and editing post text and designing creative to pair with the post.
- Establish executive social media strategy, inclusive of content pillars, voice and cadence, to enhance Mobility Group senior leaders' social presence and elevate them as thought leaders.
- Manage up to five senior leaders social media presences by writing, publishing and monitoring posts aligned with individualized strategies on their behalf.
- Create complementary employee advocacy content to expand the Mobility Group library topics.
- Facilitate social media content submission process by working with Mobility Group marketing to source and develop content, secure approvals and submit posts for publication.
- Serve as an escalation point for community management questions or engagement opportunities related to submitted posts.
- Track, monitor and report on social media content performance for corporate, advocacy and leadership content aligned with social media KPIs to measure performance.
- Champion correct usage of social standards, brand and corporate guidelines on social media.
- Collaborate with internal teams to conceptualize and execute content ideas to support company and organizational objectives and campaigns. This may include lives, chats, events, influencer activity, varied content formats, paid ads, etc.
Qualifications
Required Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- 4 years of relevant marketing and communications experience, with an emphasis on social media content development.
- 2 years of experience managing a brand or executive-level social media presence
- Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of any of the following Eaton locations: Cleveland OH (Beachwood), Pittsburgh PA (Moon Twp.), Raleigh NC, Southfield MI, or Milwaukee WI (Waukesha).
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future
Skills
- Knowledge of social media platforms; experience with LinkedIn required.
- Superior writing with an ability to capture and apply voice.
- Content development, messaging and workflow management.
- Knowledge of social media communications, including how to drive engagement, conversations and impact through social media.
- Understanding of social media KPIs, reporting and evaluation.
- Familiarity with visual design tools and templates. Canva experience a plus."
- Extreme attention to detail and ability to establish and maintain trust and credibility is essential.
- Superior creativity, written communications skills and presentation skills.
- Able to meet deadlines and establish clear priorities quickly – works effectively with tight deadlines and able to handle a heavy workload and organize and handle a multitude of different tasks in parallel.
