Position Summary

We're looking for a Senior Leader of Brand Marketing and Creative Ops to help guide strategy and execution for the core Samsung brand in the US. Our ideal candidate is passionate about brand and understands its importance across the entire customer experience. You should be fluent in consumer marketing and comfortable in a quickly-evolving environment. This is a great opportunity to help shape how millions of customers view and experience Samsung.

Role And Responsibilities

This individual will have the responsibility and the privilege of leading a team to develop and execute the Samsung Electronics America marketing strategy and go-to-market operations for the Samsung brand across 4 strategic pillars in order to drive short and long-term growth. These 4 pillars are: 1) Sustainability, 2) Connectivity, 3) Customization and 4) Care. This individual will inspire and drive a team who will work cross functionally to bring these pillars to life across paid, owned and earned marketing channels.

Integrated Marketing:

  • Drive brand and business growth via authentic, consistent and impactful connections with consumers; build love for the Samsung brand through the lens of our 4 strategic pillars and create meaningful connections and conversations with our consumers through Partnerships, Social, Influencer, Cause Marketing, Brand Channels and Events/Activation.
  • Work with the Corporate Marketing Connected Experiences Center (CXC) to develop the vision and execute marketing activities to promote the future connected home.
  • Liaise with the Care team to continue to drive brand love after purchase by ensuring consumers know devices and appliances are cared for through their whole life cycle.
  • Continuously analyze the impact of our marketing efforts and find opportunities to drive better results.


Cross-Line of Business (xLOB) Marketing and Campaign Planning:

  • Oversee the development and execution of xLOB plans, promotions and campaigns to provide a singular One Samsung point of view. Events include promotional moments like Holiday, Mother’s/Father’s Day and the quarterly Discover Samsung Event.
  • Lead strategy for xLOB dot-com events and brand opportunities. Includes Samsung brand storytelling and the design and execution of the strategic pillars on Samsung.com.


Creative Services:

  • Manage external creative agencies and internal team of creative directors and copy writers to create assets for promotional activities and Samsung owned channels (dot-com and social platforms).
  • Responsible for brand leadership and driving more efficient creative development processes, consistency of brand assets and consumer experience.
  • Work with Global teams to localize campaigns and toolkits for US market. Manage timelines and budgets required.


Skills And Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree with 15+ of brand creative, strategy, operations, integrated marketing and brand partnership expertise.
  • Expert in in brand marketing fundamentals (consumer/shopper, equity/products, go to market, creative operations, experiential, social/influencer, etc).
  • Creative mindset and track record of developing new ideas that engage and delight the consumer and shopper
  • History with execution of physical brand experience/events.
  • Fluent in all aspects of brand strategy and end-to-end customer experience.
  • Successfully led and helped execute major campaigns from conception to launch to optimization, analyzing results and providing insightful campaign analytics.
  • Leadership skills to guide and influence diverse teams into a focused brand and marketing strategy.
  • Business acumen and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholder interests and coordinate cross-functional teams towards task completion.
  • Demonstrated use of techniques and tools to coordinate and prioritize projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate with and present to team members at all levels.
  • Highly adaptive and flexible, comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Excellent situational awareness and emotional intelligence.
